It was so fun and extremely helpful in understanding how one can calm themselves before any kind of anxious experience.

I'm not super flexible, so yoga can be challenging for me, but I really like the meditation part, and I think it's nice to experience some of the things we talk about it class, because we're more likely to understand concepts when we practice them, opposed to just talking about them.

I have my own yoga practice that I usually do 5-7 times a week. I never thought of yoga as relieving communication stress though, but I definitely see where you're coming from. I'll probably try the whole exercising before giving a speech idea because that will help get rid of some nerves. Loved doing yoga in class! :)

I have always been a fan of yoga and I really enjoyed trying it in the classroom setting. It surprised me how everyone in the class participated.

I did feel a lot more relaxed during yoga. For a few minutes a lot of my stress went away which put my mind at ease; however, it did not solve all my problems, but it was nice not to feel all the pressure for a little bit.

I thought it was very useful. I felt very relaxed and felt like I could take more in the rest of the day( that's saying a lot because I am a very anxious person)! It was not boring, however, it was a little weird. After getting past that though, it was really nice to spend a little time in class relaxing!

Ok I wasn't a huge believer/supporter of yoga and meditation but after the COM class I felt so relaxed and comfortable. I had the Caterpillar job fair right after and I talked with recruiters for 2 hours straight! No exaggeration here I got there at 2 and almost missed the last shuttle back to Bradley at 4 pm. I was so calm and the mild anxiety I usually have when talking in high stakes conversation was completely gone! I really, really felt a difference in my confidence and ease in talking to the recruiters. I will definitely be doing more yoga and meditation before high stakes presentations or meetings.

I thought that dong the yoga and meditation really helped make every stress and issue feel like they were less overwhelming. I felt a sense of calm that is difficult to achieve without something like meditation. I'm glad to have participated in the activity.

I like doing yoga anyway, and I am already aware of the countless benefits of physical activity. Nonetheless, this was a pleasant experience. It matches the (high) quality of yoga classes that I have taken before, and it provided a nice break within another busy day.

The yoga and meditation we tried that day was a big stress reliever for the rest of my day. I felt more relaxed right after class and I definitely will try it again during my free time when I am feeling stressed again.

It was pretty cool, not exactly a yoga person, but it did its job. I have done meditation before, but in a more religious/christian way. Its cool to give people an outlet to relieve stress, but its not for me. Thanks for the experience though.

It was a lot of fun! I had already had a stressful day and yoga was exactly what I needed to help me relax a bit. It helped me calm down before my long drive home so I could arrive safely.

I thought all these exercises were very relaxing and made me feel energized after. I'm not sure if it would help me feel calm before public speaking, though I would definitely try it out to see how it works for me.

I found it very relaxing, and usually I suffer from a little back pain but afterwards my back, and mind felt great.

I've never been into yoga/meditation before but after doing it in class I felt significantly less stressed and super comforted. Glad we did it!

It was very enjoyable and a good experience. It can definitely be useful for certain kinds of anxiety, such as more general anxiety. For me personally, it would not help much with my communication apprehension because by the time I would actually be giving my speech or talking with people, the anxiety would have had time to return just as strong.

Before I came into class that day I had a huge headache and congested nose and when I left both of those things were relieved. I did yoga at high school for a class and I became very interested in it, but as soon as the class ended I lost interest. Yoga makes me feel good inside and out.

It was interesting, and slightly uncomfortable (physically). I am very inflexible. and so attempting to contort myself to the strange poses was very humorous and awkward.

I was literally like this is not gonna work for me because I felt miserable with mono. Then like I relaxed and I ended up falling asleep. Maybe not the intended outcome but it made me relax and realized that in college not everything is due the next day so I don't need to panic. I applaud.
