Please note the LVUSD board policies regarding courses taken off campus

→ Conditions for Accepting Alternative Credits (Concurrent Enrollment, Dual Enrollment and Summer School)

→ Students must provide prior written notification and gain CHS site approval for any dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment course or outside

program. Failure to notify CHS at least 14 days prior to the first day of the course may result in non acceptance of the course for district credit.

→ All students must take English during every semester of attendance and math during their first six semesters (9th, 10th and 11th).

→ Students can take a math course over the summer for advancement but will be required to take a placement test before being placed in a higher level.

→ Concurrent Enrollment classes must show verification of meeting A-G requirments in order to be accepted as a college prep class for credit towards

an LVUSD dipolma. This is verified through the approval process with CHS.

→ Concurrent Enrollment classes do not automatically fulfill prerequisite requirements for entrance into honors, AP or advanced level courses.

Students must demonstrate proficiency to the school's satsfaction for placement into all such courses.

→ A maximum of 10 credits or concurrent enrollment course will be accepted during a summer session and no more than 10 credits per academic year

will be accepted without specific written permission.

→ Concurrent enrollment AP and honors level courses will not be weighted for the purposes of appearing on the high school transcript.

All concurrent enrollment classes will be graded on a 4.o A scale.
