Selected WorkFruitful SchoolFirst session began in January 2020FounderschoolFruitful School is an independent learning initiative I co-founded with John Provencher. It's interested in new ways of publishing to the world wide web. It asks all participants to apply with a "seed," some idea they'd like to publish. Over the course of the 6 week program, we learn web publishing skills but also histories of the internet, art, and publishing.
Flight SimulatorApp released in 2019Author, Inventor, Designerapp, website, exhibitionFlight Simulator is an app for iOS and Android smartphones and an "Ode to Airplane Mode." Users put their phone in airplane mode for the duration of a real flight in order to "travel" to this location and earn pins for each airport visited. Created in collaboration with Soft (Dan Brewster). Pins are commissioned algorithmic artwork by Aarati Akkapeddi. Since its creation, it has been exhibited internationally in the Netherlands, the UK, Seoul, and Osaka.

"My website is a house next to a shifting river of knowledge... What could yours be?"Article posted in 2018Authorwriting, websiteI wrote this article about why artists should create and cultivate personal websites. It's maybe my "most viral" work in that it's circulated commonly in design education spaces. It also includes some sparrow memes, or "sparrows talking about the future of the web" that I also created.
