SADiLaR African language outreach & training project with universities

In partnership with SADiLaR (who will seek matching funding) this project will seek to run Wikipedia outreach and training excersises at as many South African universities as possible. The intention is to a) increase awareness of African langauge Wikipedias, b) train people to edit African language Wikipedias, c) add as much content to these Wikipedias as possible, d) encourage the formation of new communities of editors for African language Wikipedias. It will focus on supporting all of South Africa's offical langauges with the exception of English. SADiLaR providing half the budget with a target of 15 universities, per location: 3 days at each location with 1 chapter expert/workshop trainer= 20 hours per at R560 an hour for the workshop trainer, R5000 travel costs, R6000 accomodation, R7000 catering, R1000 merch, R1500 training materials
