Gatherings are restricted to no more than 15 people, persons over 2 years of age shall wear a face mask inside any public building (regardless of vaccination status), all teachers, staff, students or visitors to any school on the reservation shall wear a protective face mask, regardless of vaccination status, schools will resume in-person student learning and urge all community members to receive the vaccine.

Havasupai TribeYes - 3/20/20203/13/2020YesThe Havasupai Council is not restricting essential travel in and out of Supai for Tribal Members at this time. The Council strongly encourages Tribal Members suspend all non-essential travel at this time.
Consultants to the Tribe who regularly visit Supai are encouraged to cancel in-person meetings until April 14, 2020.
On August 3, the Tribal Council lifted the stay-at-home order and instituted procedures to allow the safe return of tribal members to Supai. Supai is still closed to tourists.

The Hopi Tribe has issued an executive order for the third part of its phased reopening; Hopi Villages & communities that can satisfy Center for Disease Control “gating” criteria can begin phase three re-opening, however each Village may make its own re-opening decisions; that visits to senior care facilities can resume, large gatherings, eating out & ceremonies may happen under physical distancing & sanitation protocols schools & youth facilities can reopen if social distancing & infection control practices can be maintained, the executive order also states that employers may resume unrestricted staffing of worksites; Businesses must be able to demonstrate engineered workplace settings that build in social distancing & protections for staff. On July 29, the Hopi Tribal Council declared an emergency and natural disaster on the Hopi reservation due to flooding.
