| 2018/10/29 9:18:22 AM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | All of he different ways academic librarians can do social justice work | since the conference was not held in the library, an address of the space and some signs on campus would have been really helpful. It would have been good to point out where parking was on campus or around campus. | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied
| 2018/10/29 9:25:29 AM EST | Reference & Instruction | Somewhat informative | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Info from Sarah Hartman Caverly about privacy program, and info from Lehigh about their info lit course | Please, we need to make using a microphone the default in the library community. Asking people if they can hear isn't good enough, and it's not fair to those who can't hear to ask them to identify themselves. We should be setting the example by modeling accessibility practices. | Agree | Moderately satisified | Maybe accessibility (in a broad sense...ADA-related, but also going beyond that...would be a good topic to address.
| 2018/10/29 9:33:43 AM EST | Digital Collections, Management | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | The panel was phenomenal. All talks were very different and yet gave such a fascinating view of the advocacy issues in our area. They were truly inspirational (maybe a little intimidating!). | The location was a little weird. We went to Hagerty first then got weird directions to the terrace. The facility seemed to work fine, but it was difficult to see everyone with the pod tent in the way. Thanks for letting us out early, but the traffic was still horrible!! Looking forward to a location that isn't so affected by the Philly traffic. | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied | Community engagement and outreach; Digital initiatives | I'm not on the conference planning team, I promise! This was possibly THE most organized library event I have ever attended. I was blown away by the quality of the panel and lightning talks, the food, and the unconference section. I met some great people, and I feel very inspired after the event. Thank you to the entire ACRL-DVC team, and I hope to be more involved in this group in the future. With lots of responsibilities, it's difficult!
| 2018/10/29 10:01:47 AM EST | Administration | Somewhat informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | came away with some useful ideas from the lightning rounds - interesting to see how others are connecting with communities. Also had some good conversations in the unconference | overall it worked well - the program ran on time and according to schedule. the layout of the room may it a bit hard to get around (walking between tables) and the speakers could have used a sound system. | Agree | Moderately satisified | impact of artificial intelligence on research services
| 2018/10/29 10:13:37 AM EST | Reference & Instruction;Outreach;Student | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | Alex Gil's digital projects and overall attitude towards neutrality/politicization of library spaces was refreshing. | Perhaps it would be useful to do something active/participatory towards the beginning of the day to get the juices flowing. | Somewhat agree | Moderately satisified | More of this -- critical pedagogy, etc.
| 2018/10/29 10:19:23 AM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | The work that Alex Gil and his colleagues are doing is absolutely awesome - so important and inspiring! | Unconferences are hard. It's easy for conversation to go astray. I did not use the law of two feet, and that's on me. Still, the first unconference conversation was productive, and the second was useful in an unexpected, off-topic way, so it was still beneficial overall. | Agree | Extremely satisfied | Faculty misconceptions - getting away from the one-shot model - collaborations with faculty for PBL in IL | This program and the Spring program were both really great. Keep up the good work!
| 2018/10/29 10:33:24 AM EST | Reference & Instruction;Systems and technology;Learning Spaces | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | I loved learning about the great work that the panelists are doing on a daily basis. I also thought the lightning round presentations were really well selected and learned so much that I can bring back to my institution and work. | The facility was lacking a bit - hard to hear and see presentations, and bathrooms were few (and loud!). | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied | I appreciated the unconference sessions as a way not only to tie together the day's material but also to network (which is one of the most important aspects of these meetings).
| 2018/10/29 12:21:56 PM EST | Reference & Instruction | Somewhat informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | The room did not seem large enough, or maybe the tables were just not arranged well. The panel seemed disconnected--to each other and to my day-to-day work. I wanted to know how to take activism and advocacy back to my own library. | Neither agree nor disagree | Moderately satisified
| 2018/10/29 12:58:07 PM EST | Reference & Instruction;Outreach | Somewhat informative | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Agree | Moderately satisified
| 2018/10/29 3:14:40 PM EST | Reference & Instruction;archives | Somewhat informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | "Niceness has a machete." - Alex Gil. "Are you a chaplain of the empire or a prophet of the resistance." - Yvette Davis. | The facilities could have been better. The presentations were punctuated by toilets flushing and the catering staff snoring. | Agree | Extremely satisfied
| 2018/10/30 8:58:27 AM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | The lightning round was most useful because the projects described seemed doable by ordinary librarians. The panel was interesting as well, but less directly relevant to my work. | The exact location was not easy to find. It would have been helpful to know that the building is at the southwest corner of 33rd and Race. There were no ACRL-DVC signs outside the building to direct us to the entrance nor on the door itself, and the students I stopped to ask had never heard of the Library Learning Terrace. | Agree | Moderately satisified
| 2018/10/30 9:39:01 AM EST | Collection Management;Reference & Instruction;Outreach | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | The different ways that librarians are doing activism. | The building was a little hard to find. Otherwise, everything was great. Lunch was delicious. | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied
| 2018/10/30 1:55:34 PM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | Suggestions for collaborating, encouragement to take action ourselves | Microphones would have improved clarity. Otherwise things were great! | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied | Great event! Thanks for organizing!
| 2018/10/30 3:10:12 PM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Somewhat informative | how many different ways advocacy in libraries can look | I would have like to have a presentation (probably longer than 10 minutes by necessity) on the more theoretical approach to advocacy. Libraries are often held up as neutral places where no particular viewpoint is put ahead of another. Advocacy is not neutral. Some sort of dialogues discussing this would have been great. In theory the unconference wasn't a bad idea, but in execution, having some folks hosting it, with all the others that popped up just seemed to mean too many tables and not enough quality discussion. If presenters are asked to lead them again, it would also be good to mention that they are not responsible for 50 minutes, but two smaller discussions. | Agree | Moderately satisified | Thanks for doing this--I'm so glad it happened!
| 2018/11/02 8:48:22 AM EST | Technical Services | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | The program topics don't really fit my specific job responsibilities, but I still enjoyed the presentations. The surveillance self-defense toolkit is something I myself am interested in using for my own online security. | Panelists were excellent but since they basically gave mini-presentations not sure the panel format fit. | Neither agree nor disagree | Moderately satisified
| 2018/11/05 10:53:20 AM EST | Reference & Instruction | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | Extremely informative | The privacy workshop described in the lightning round is something I'll be able to adapt at my own institution. Also, I've been giving a lot of thought to how librarians can support journalists with data -- as in the example of Torn Apart / Separados. | I thought the schedule was great, not as rushed as previous programs. More prominent directions to the learning terrace would have been helpful; several people went to the library first. | Strongly agree | Extremely satisfied | Research Data Management | Great -- and inspiring -- program!

| 2018/11/06 3:03:31 PM EST | Collection Management;Reference & Instruction | Somewhat informative | Somewhat informative | Inspiration to do more regarding diversity and inclusion | There should have been a microphone for the speakers. This is minor, but being able to hear the toilet flushing was a bit distracting. | Agree | Extremely satisfied
