27 | Team/Club Meals in buildings | We Strongly Recommend teams eliminate, or limit team meals to one at the beginning of the year, and one at the end of the year. Team meals should not be moved off school property to avoid limitations. 30 | Winter Practice Guidelines | Face covering required of coaches and managers at all times Athletes required to wear face coverings when not directly involved in a drill Practice Social Distancing Wash/Sanitize hands frequently You must conduct Temperature Checks Before Practice Needs to be done inside - set a place to check kids before going out Coaches’ responsibility Anyone with temp above 100 should sit 10 minutes and be retested If Trainer Tim is available, he will retest student If still above 100, send the athlete home. Locker Rooms & Meeting rooms will be sprayed down with disinfectant every night. Don’t leave anything out that shouldn’t be sprayed. (NO Food on tables or in gym lockers) Baggies for mouthpieces. Don’t leave water bottles in lockers Athletes should take their practice clothes (whatever is touching their skin) home and wash them every night Limit the sharing of equipment as much as possible. Spray down balls/equipment when possible during, and after practice. No shared water bottles! Each athlete should have a personal water bottle. Come up with a system that works for your team. Take attendance and keep a practice/ meeting plan of everything you do. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
31 | Community Gym Use | Only CPS personnel and groups working directly with CPS Students may use CPS gyms. All patrons must self-monitor for COVID 19 symptoms. Anyone exhibiting symptoms should not use CPS facilities. Must follow all CPS face covering and social distancing guidelines. Face covering required of coaches and managers at all times Athletes required to wear face coverings when not directly involved in a drill Practice Social Distancing Wash/Sanitize hands frequently Group/Coach is responsible for picking up all garbage at the end of practice Group is responsible for disinfecting ‘High Touch’ areas. Group must supply all practice equipment. Parents/siblings of athletes should not enter the building. Coaches are responsible for taking and tracking attendance.
