Note: to click the video links, you need to double click in Cell A1, as if you are editing it. Then you will be able to click each link independently.

The purpose of this spreadsheet is to present data on student progress in a clear, organized, and useful way. Here's a video explanation. (Note that we've made a few changes since this video was recorded, including replacing "Behind Pace" with "Catching Up.")

To see how it works, try entering progress data for students on the "Editable (Test Class)" tab. The "By Student," "By Lesson," and "Game Board" tabs will update automatically. These tabs are not meant to be edited, but you can make changes if you like!

Here are a few ways you can extend the functionality of this sheet:
1) Duplicate tabs to add new classes.
2) Turn off "revision required" mode.
3) Add additional rows (for students) or columns (for lessons).
4) Use Form Mule to notify students and/or caregivers of progress. (Note that we've improved the email template since this video was recorded.)

Here are a few tips to use this tracker effectively:
★ Remember that less is more. The more assignments you have, the more work it will be to update this tracker. One column per lesson, for the mastery check, is ideal.
- Note that, for the tracker to work properly, each lesson column must have a unique suggested due date
★ Commit to daily updates. A few minutes per day can make a huge difference, both for you and your students. If you can update at the end of each class, even better.
★ Make mastery checks short and sweet. The faster they are to grade, the less time you'll spend grading.
★ Don't be afraid to tinker. You can always come back and copy the original sheet. Make this tracker work for YOU!
