3	Belstra Milling FFA Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	Eligible to a Senior FFA Member at RCHS, who plans to continue their education in the ag field beyond high school. The selected individual for the scholarship must have proof of acceptance from a university or a technical school before receiving the $250 monetary scholarship award, which is paid directly to the school. 4	Bishop Dwenger Knights of Columbus Council 1881 Scholarship	Deadline is May 15, 2026	Any son, daughter, stepson or stepdaughter of a member in good standing, or a member in good standing, or a deceased member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Dwenger Council 1881 is eligible for this scholarship. 5	Bruce & Sharon Nesius Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	One $500 scholarship will be awarded to one successful candidate from Kankakee Valley High School, one from Rensselaer Central High School, and one from all other high schools in Jasper County REMC’s service territory, providing fund availability. 6	The Carnegie Players Garrity-Laird Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	The Carnegie Players annually present The Garrity-Laird Scholarship to any student who meets the following criteria: Graduating high school senior from any public, private or home school, or a current full-time college student. Student must be pursuing studies in Performing Arts or Theater Arts at the college level, participated in at least 2 complete Carnegie Players productions (acting, crew or staff), OR are involved in school and community activities. 7	Dan Zandstra Memorial Aviation Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	Senior who is a resident of Jasper or Starke County and pursuing an education in the aviation field. Applicant must be accepted to an accredited college/university. Two letters of recommendation required, as well as a short essay stating why he/she wishes to pursue a career in aviation. 8	Hilda Bowen Nursing Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	Any high student enrolled in a baccalaureate program to study nursing may apply. Criteria used by the Tri Kappa selection committee are academic achievement, personal statement, and goals, as well as letters of recommendation. Farm Bureau cares about the future of our farming communities and our youth of today, we sponsor or co-sponsor several scholarships for college-bound students. 13	Little Cousin Jasper Community Service Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	The Little Cousin Jasper Festival Committee will award one $500.00 scholarship for 2026. 14	Michael E. Greene Memorial Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	All applicants must be graduating high school seniors who reside in Jasper or Newton Counties and are interested in pursuing further education in a Criminal Justice related field. Applicants who are the immediate family members of current FOP members, or active/retired law enforcement are encouraged to apply but are not required to seek a Criminal Justice degree. 16	Michelle M. Keys Scholarship	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to two residents of Jasper County, Indiana. The scholarship candidate must be a son, daughter, or legal ward of a law enforcement officer, dispatcher, corrections officer, or court security officer. 17	Wagner Lumber & Supply Ambition Award	Deadline passed for 2026 Graduates	This award is different than most scholarships you may earn this year. Instead of the money being applied directly to your tuition, you will actually receive a check for $1000 written in YOUR NAME. The criteria for this award is simple in nature. The recipient must demonstrate great work ethic, both in and out of class. This person must have good grades, and balance a job outside of school. The student must also be attending a college in the fall. Determining factors will include GPA, types of classes, extracurricular, hours worked, and leadership roles.
