|PURPOSE: To introduce the rider and/or horse to the sport of dressage. To show understanding of riding the horse forward with a steady tempo into an elastic contact with independent, steady hands and a correctly balanced seat. To show proper geometry of figures in the arena with correct bend (corners and circles).||RIDER #||5664|

|Further remarks: Braced topline affects performance today. (At this time ride this horse on bending lines by opening the inside rein not pulling back. Try doing 3 loop serpentines and over each centerline do a 10m circle in the new direction to influence a softer neck. Also do walk and trot with 1/2 circle to 1/2 circle. When doing a downward trans from a canter bend into a 15m trot circle not pulling back to trot. The circle will bring the horse back. When walking around the ring doing your serpentines or circles take a moment to halt on a bending line and count to 10 encouraging the horse to stand still and on the bit)|
