We put it together ourselves; the double does require 3 people, but it was worth not having to pay the assembly fee, which is separate. The single pod comes with a small desk. The double does not. We purchased a fold-down desk from Amazon, which we have attached. We also installed large screen wall-mounted monitors and purchased chairs for the double unit. In the single pod, we used a rolling counter height chair since the desk is a little higher, although it can be adjusted.
