| Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in students in Northern Thailand: associations with respiratory symptoms, diagnosed allergy and the home environment | Article | a 2022 article about how children get sick of diagnosed Alergies and is how it affects people | Givces us the information about how biomas air pouliton affects humans | Edurdo Soto 9/14 | How many kids were diagnosed with the allergies from indoor and outdoor enviormental factors last year? Evan What dose this article have to do with the use of algae as biofuel? Katelyn I thought we were researching about algae? -Dylan what does this have to do with allgey it only talks about allergys?-Ryan | I thnk this may ahve been shared beroe your team clarified your focus | It takes too much time for algae biofuel to be produced. Algae biofuel is a “clean” source of energy, but if we can’t create the biofuel in the right amount of time then we can't use it as a source of energy. It takes algae 30 days to 4 weeks to produce 2,000-5,000 gallons of fuel . We would like to progress the production of algae biofuel that will take a smaller amount of time to produce the same amount of biofuel.
| Algae for Biofuel Production | Article | A 2019 article about algae and the production of algae as biofuel. | This article is very long but gives important information. | Katelyn Matsubara 9/14 | so when I read this it didnt say anything about how algea can grow in a place like california or somwhere wioth little water?-Ryan | Well two things one algae can grow in 20-30°C which is a pretty good range for a California. Two we could always just grow the algae in a different spot in the world and ship it to California. If we even would stay in California.—https://www.e-education.psu.edu/egee439/node/694
| Pros and Cons of Algae in Biofuel | Article | A 2019 article about the pros and cons of algae in biomass. | It is a nice article that gives good information. | Evan Theede 9/14 | Eduardo Soto:What else could run on alergy in the further besides cars? What could we do so that Algea blooms wouldn't kill wild life? How log would it take to long costs of Gallons and Barrel oil? How much Does it cost to to produce algae biofuel per year? -Dylan How much gallons water do you need to store a good enough amount of algae? Jacob How long does it take to process the algae to turn it into a usable biofuel? Jacob how much does this cost?-Ryan | These are outstanding questions!!
| Algae-based Biofuel: Pros And Cons | Article | An article about the pros and cons about Algae | This article gives you a great amount of information about pros and cons of algae | Dylan Jones 9/14 | How much funding has been given to make algae based biofeul? Evan In this article it states that "Certain types of algae contain natural oils" that we need-what type of algae is that? Katelyn In the article it says "Algae-based fuel yields considerably more energy per unit area"- how big is one unit area? Katelyn How many companies are using the new technology called bio-reacters to grow algae? Evan How much algae made into bio-fuel was bought in gallons last year? Evan Could we make filters that don't produce carbon dioxide? Jacob It says that algae need to grow in controlled temperatures- What are those temperatures? And where can we find it? Katelyn | @ Katelyn: ..to your first question: ...and what kinds of "oils" are these? interesting. Yes! You should definitely find out what a unit area is. Evan: the question may not be "how many companies", but which companies? whay did they choose it? and how is it working out for them? In regards to the controlled temperatures: a controlled environment is going to take energy to produce and maintain - unless you can find a passive system that will provide it. So, this is an interesting piece of the puzzle.
| Biomass energy | Article | this Article is made by Natinal Geographics and tells mostly pros about algea Biomass. | Ryan Ross | Eduardo Soto:How can we change it to where Before The Biomas dries out and loses 20% of The Energy? Can we use tar as a sustainable resource? Can manure and other animal watse Be used as A SuSTAINBLE RESOURCE? | Interesting - Also, WHY does it lose the energy when it dries out?
