ChrisProctor(example)PauloDevelop an embodied understanding of how weight and friction can be used in architecture. Support collaborative building play.I will have completed calculations for all blocks needed for both the dome and the vaulted arches. I will have prototyped several different kinds of wood, and will have cut all the blocks required for the dome to ensure they weigh enough and that the static friction between blocks is sufficient to build with them. Complete one user test to validate the idea.

Chris & MikhailThe Lifetime of Trash.
Cultivate an identity of “environmentally responsible citizen” (Hungerford & Volk, 1990)
1. Create an awareness and sensitivity to the environment and the trash crisis
2. Engender basic understanding of the life cycles of different products and how they impact the environment
3. Provoke feelings of concern for the environment and motivation for actively participating in environmental improvement and protection.
We will make sure the image process works, and we will have our story (each of them) finalized.

Change in young people's healthy eating behaviors
We will have developed our prototype kit with grow light and decided which aspects will be black boxed and which will be opportunities for building for the kids. We will have prototyped building our own sensors (HOPEFULLY) while also callibrating the bought sensors to correspond with our activity book. We will be halfway through illustrating our book and will have our story finalized.

QiyaoFanYushanLiPaulo & Yipu students(grade 1-3) can understand math concept and to apply mathematical ability to solve their authentic life problemsWe will develop more themes based on tasks in thier life which require math. We will print more board, life representations(pig, corn, potatoes). We will explore tool-based strategies in teaching math. We will connect all these elements together to make video to demonstrate how to use the tool in each theme.

HangYangChris & MonicaDevelop the ability of storytelling and social communication. (with the toolkit, kids (4-7 years old) can make and tell their stories based on their observation and imagination. Getting feedback and commmunicating are supported to develop their ability of social communication.I will have completed programming of microbit. I will have prototyped different materials and designs for the book. Also, I will try to make the toolkit more elegant. Hopefully, I can complete a user test to validate the idea.
