Best of three sets with tie breaks (seven points) in the first two sets.

You enter doubles events with your choice of partner.

If you do not have a partner, just enter your name and we will assign you a partner where this is possible.

Finalists

Entrants must be able to play on finals day on 9 October.

Finalist should attend the Final Day social event if possible (if we are allowed to organise one).

Timings

Please arrange your matches in good time BEFORE the deadline for each round of matches e.g. beware of holiday commitments.

Games must be played by dates indicated.

Any match not played by the indicated date will be scratched.

It is the repsonsibility of the person(s) at the top of the draw to arrange the match by giving 3 possible dates to play to their opponent(s)

If the person who is responsible for organising the match doesn't contact the other player(s), they will be scratched.

If the other person can not make any of the dates given to them they will be scratched.

In the event of disagreement over who should concede due to the match not being played, the organiser's decision is final.

Please be PROACTIVE and don't wait to be contacted in arranging your games.

Try and avoid playing matches on club nights if possible.

Only Ladies doubles matches will be permitted to be played on a Tuesday night unless agreed by the Ladies Captain.

Only Mens doubles matches will be permitted to be played on a Thurdsay night unless agreed by the Mens Captain.

Court selection

If players cannot agree on the choice of court, this will be decided by a racquet spin.

Finals will be held on Tiger Turf courts.

Any matches played on a Tuesday or Thursday night will have to be played on hard courts unless Tiger Turf/Clay courts are freely available.

Plates

Plates will be played for each tournament.

It is only possible to organise plates if all the preliminary and first round ties are played by the deadline.

If you lose your first match (regardless of which round this occurs), you will go into the plate.
