PURPOSE: Tests confirm that the horse is supple and moves freely forward in a clear steady rhythm, accepting light contact with the bit. The horse demonstrates greater understanding of the aids and calm acceptance of the bridle; greater emphasis is placed on relaxation, harmony, rideability and pure gaits. The horse is beginning to develop more impulsion and balance.RIDER #6043

1GaitsFreedom and regularity77
32
2ImpulsionDesire to move forward with suppleness of the back and steady tempo.77back suppleness sometimes inhibited by lack of correct lateral poll suppleness ( throughness)
33
3Rider’s Position, Seat, and HandsWell-balanced elastic seat demonstrating vertical, centered alignment, with light independent contact from hand(s)88
34
4Rider’s Correct and Effective Use of the AidsEvidenced by the horse's responsiveness; steady elastic connection cultivating athletic expression. Accuracy - precise placement of the figures and transitions, the effectiveness of the rider's aids determines the accurate fulfillment of the required movements of the tests7.57.5accuracy good, straightness ( ie bend lateral poll suppleness or positioning ) horse often positioned right at poll not as supple or straight to the left
35
5HarmonyThe horse accepts the aids and influence of the rider with attention, relaxation and confidence; and demonstrates a willing partnership between horse and rider resulting in a free flowing performance8216
36
Steady, attractive, performance with good basics! For the coming collection in levels above attention to throughness ( elasticity to the rein connection and correct poll flexion, allowing the horse to relax the neck and come through the back more will be more demanding). Inside leg support to elastic outside rein becomes increasingly important . This was a steady nicely developing ride to watch!! :):)
