Pre-High Holy Days Volunteer Night - 9/8/26

Join us as we prepare for the High Holy Days! Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including food prep, stuffing name tags, replacing siddurim with machzorim in the Sanctuary, and assisting with High Holy Day food sales.

Building Greeter

Be the first friendly face our members and guests see! Welcome visitors, answer questions, provide directions, and offer assistance as needed.

Service/Activity Greeter

Welcome members and guests as they arrive, help them feel comfortable, answer questions about the service or activity, and provide assistance to attendees and the service leader as needed.

Shuttle Helper

Welcome guests as they arrive by shuttle, assist them as they exit, and help direct them to the appropriate entrance or destination. At the end of the event, assist guests as they board the shuttle to help ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure.

Welcome guests into the Schmooze & Snack Room, help keep refreshments stocked, and maintain a clean and inviting space for everyone to enjoy.

Support the activity leader by interacting with teens and youth, encouraging participation, assisting with activities, and helping create a safe, engaging space for everyone.

Help prepare Adath for Yom Kippur by assisting with a variety of behind-the-scenes tasks, such as stuffing name tags, setting up prayer books, posting signage, preparing break-fast snacks, and ensuring the building is ready to welcome our community.

Hesed Food Drive Bag Assistance

Help support our Hesed Food Drive by handing out donation bags to congregants, answering basic questions, and encouraging participation in this important community mitzvah.

Hesed Food Drive Runner/Helper

Help collect food donations by assisting donors with unloading items from their vehicles, transporting donations from the building to the collection truck, and helping load the truck throughout the drive. Dress appropriately and comfortably, as this role entails being outside and (Orange parking safety vests will be provided for volunteers working in the parking lot.)

Break-fast and Kitchen/Kiddush Lunch Assistance

Help ensure smooth and welcoming food service throughout the High Holy Days. Volunteers will assist with plating and serving food, clearing tables, and light cleanup before, during, and after break-fast and Kiddush lunch times.
