Chegg.comScholarship & College Search EngineChegg is a great resource, not just for scholarships, but for renting textbooks and college matches as well — they’re devoted to student needs and the site itself is easily accessible. They dig down deep and find the obscure, small-business-funded scholarships that aren’t advertised on other sites. I also really like how Chegg pinpoints what you qualify for and tells you why they’ve matched you to specific scholarships.

College Affordability & How To Pay For College GuideFinancial InformationOur ranking methodology found 10 affordable colleges and universities in Washington – better than the neighboring states. There are college towns like Pullman (home of Washington State University), big cities like Seattle (home of University of Washington-Seattle Campus), and a number of other options in between. Financial aid is intended to help students pay for education-related expenses such as tuition, room and board, fees, supplies and equipment. The federal government may be the most well-known provider of funds (through FAFSA), but you’ll discover many sources of financial aid in your search. Whether you’re attending a university, college, private school or vocational school, merit- and need-based aid is widely available.

College Application Fee WaiversCollege Application Fee WaiversEvery senior who takes the SAT or SAT Subject Tests using a fee waiver will receive four college application fee waivers directly from the College Board. Eligible students can use them to apply to any of the over 2,000 participating colleges. This initiative is made possible thanks to the commitment of colleges across the country to ensure that application fees are not a barrier, and fee waivers are an important part of our efforts to propel low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students into the educational opportunities they have earned.
