How incentives lead as astray
Incentive design rests on background assumptions about human nature, behaviour and motivation that should be critically examined. One primary assumption is that humans are driven by external motivations and that they will keep reacting the same way to the same kind of external motivation as time passes by. Phenomena in behavioural psyhcology such as the overjustification effect however challenge this assumption.

Democracy and Republic: Testing, Adjusting, and Automating the Ancient Balance of Power
In this short talk, we will explore the ancient balance of power between democracy and republic. We will discuss how this balance has been tested through time, and when it fails. We will examine the strengths and weaknesses of both democratic systems, and consider how technological advancements have impacted the ongoing war for direct and representative agency. By understanding this mechanism, we can work towards creating more effective and efficient systems of governance that better serve our society.
