Synchronous Learning Recommendations
Materials teacher need to get from kits/home for remote learning.
Optional materials for students to use for remote learning. These should be considered consumable.

Please check with district guidelines regarding allergies and sending home materials.

Investigation 4: Getting Things to MovePart 1: Pushes and PullsStep 4-7: Use the whiffle balls and the colorful plastic balls so that each student can have their own ball and instead of pushing with a classmate, have them sit near a wall and push the ball toward the wall. You might want to do this outside to have enough wall space and distance between students. Introduction
Steps 1-4

Activity
Steps 5, have students do steps 6-7 with a family member at home or against a wall with any kind of ball. If students don't have a ball they could use a plastic cup or a can of beans on its side and do it alone.

Discussion
Steps 8-15
Reading, "Pushes and Pulls" see step 17 for discussion questions
From Kit
