This is a Character creation aid for Shadowrun 5th Edition. It provides a number of useful pieces of information and takes much of the hard work out of creating a character.
While it is flexible enough to use to track your character during play as well, it does not handle a number of scenarios that may occur (most notably, the ability to have more than one specialization per skill), so do so at your own risk.

First: you can not edit the original! You must make a copy of this sheet and store it in your own Google Drive. To do so, go to the File menu and "Make a Copy..."
Fill in the light blue boxes and select from the light purple dropdowns. You can generally fill out the tabs from left to right, but you can move around as desired.
Most things will be calculated for you, and many fields will be checked for problems. If there is still more work to be done, a field will show as yellow (see the key below), and if it has invalid information (or a resource has been overspent) it will show as red. When everything checks out and there is no need to do more, the field will show as green.
Some useful help will show up as either an orange cell, or a note attached to the field in question (or a column header).
Do not enter data in any of the cells that are not light blue or light purple as it may damage the equations that the spreadsheet uses to perform its work.
Please stay out of the Tables tab unless you really want to het into the guts of the spreadsheet. It is not necessary to edit that sheet in order to complete a character.
