Topic 1 - 1.1D.5 FCGP Video By JoshE_AAHS
Makes the case that students are more comfortable with
their own devices in school which increases their productivity; saves school
money, but security is a concern. Also, everyone can’t afford a smart phone or
iPad. Showed credits, references.  Technically very clean, crisp. Would have been
stronger with more personal input by the video maker.

Topic 2 - 2.2B.4 Cloud
Computing By: JessK_AAHS (4:22)

Good up front definition - Student's point of view on life
with/without cloud computing. Good examples of servers, distribution methods,
specific products and programs and how they relate to what students ned to do
in school. Used a variety of approaches – humor, acting out, interviews, role
play of losing flash drive.Technical/audio was basically good for most segments.

Topic 3 - 3.3E.1 The effect of videogames on the environment by JobeH_hpc

Concept of the effect of video games on the environment, started with
facts/figures of landfill, Illustrated hammer on earth made of clay, example of
negative impact.  Recycling shown. Video
games can have positive message impacts also. Very well done with Minecraft
cuts back and forth between real video.
Reached the conclusion that VG have more negative effect on the
environment than positive. Hug a tree not a computer.

Topic 4 - 4.4A.1 Learning Analytics in global community by LowellS_WILD (4:10) EXCELLENT

Creative visuals, sounds, origin of data
collecting; father of statistics; health, finance, social, good attention to
audience, clear narration, “schoolology”; wearables – she connects many
concepts and gives meaningful examples, Could have used some credits to be complete.
Technical quality very good.

Topic 5 - 5.5A.2 Internet of Things By: KristenD_AAHS (2:27)

Good introduction about the data that has been generated by things, but not previously
captured; Very clear basic narration, enunciation of processor "things" in our everyday lives. Creates a story feel with this production.Showed credits way too quickly. Good
technical quality overall. Would benefit by re-doing places where vocal sometimes stumbles.

Topic 6 - 6.6E.2 Wearable Technology on Environment by AnnaR_QCAHS

Well developed. Good graphic display to start – flipping through many
example pics of wearable devices from everyday up to space suit, gave very
explicit naming of the different devices – speaking a little too rapidly – good
combination of video and photos, slides, Effective use of placing herself into
the video actually using the and demonstrating the concepts;  Next, she proceeds to the topic of effect on
the environment – uses term e-waste – narrating should be rehearsed, it is good
but somewhat mechanical sounding as though being read in a monotone; details on rare
earth sources China. Video was very effective with the message.
