The Corruption of CapitalismGuy Standing
One of the most important books ever written; Standing is one of the few authors bold enough to call for a Reset. "Revolt is justified now," he says and calls for Euthanasia of the rentier. We now have people owning stuff and making money off it, while the rest of the world works and works and can't get by - it no longer pays enough to work. The rentiers own too much; it no longer pays to work, the natural end result of extraction capitalism is like the natural end of a Monopoly Game.

UBI is "Pass Go" money. The best way to solve inequality is to give money to those that don't have money. The only way to participate in society is to have the currency society runs on. If they are not participating in the economy, they will have to be paid for anyway.
84
UBI works better than providing social service - people know what they need. Give them enough cash to cover what they need - when you let people drive what money is used for they are careful with it. The average cost was $800 pounds per individual.
