Please make a copy of this sheet and save it in your personal Google Drive so you can edit it. If you can't edit it, it won't work.
This tool is a prompt generator meant to randomize potential encounters for characters and storytellers in a setting based on Vampire: the Masquerade. This randomizer is built around V20 lore, and largely assumes that player characters are Camarilla aligned. Terminology and lore referenced may be different from what players who mainly stick with V5 or V1 are familiar with (I will not be making generators for other versions or splats, as I do not play them as much and would not necessarily get it right; however, if you want to alter the reference data to suit and then share it out, feel free to do so. Just credit me for the format, please - I worked really hard on this <3).
Prompts are intentionally somewhat vague. The real creative work is your job. ;)
The randomizers reroll anytime a change is made to the document - for this reason, I've included a 'saved prompts' tab so you can copy and preserve the ones that are interesting. This includes a dropdown so you can customize them once they're copied.
To add or remove options from the randomizer, simply edit the lists in the Reference tabs. More instances of one specific option in a list will make it more likely - you can play with probability. Some probability rolls are prebuilt, such as character appearance, clan, and generation (the more rare it is in the game lore, the less likely the randomizer is to roll it). Fourteenth and fifteenth generation thinbloods will only appear if they roll the specific flaw required.
This can be used to generate solo story prompts for writing purposes, or random character encounters for storytellers. However you use this tool, I hope it's helpful. :)

Someone who is rumored to have been bloodhunted elsewhere warns you that your sire isn't who you think they are because they expect to get something in return for it. In the end, you turn someone they respect against them.

The Judge perpetually seeks to improve the system. A Judge takes pleasure in her rational nature and ability to draw the right conclusion when presented with facts. The Judge respects justice, as it is the most efficient model for resolving issues. Judges, while they pursue the “streamlining” of problems, are rarely visionary, as they prefer proven models to insight. Engineers, lawyers, and doctors are often Judge Archetypes. Kindred Judges might gravitate toward enforcement roles in local society, or they might be a voice of reason in an otherwise radical coterie. The Dabbler is interested in everything but focuses on nothing. He flits from idea to idea, passion to passion, and project to project without actually finishing anything. Others may get swept up in the Dabbler’s enthusiasm, and be left high and dry when he moves on to something else without warning. Most Dabblers have high Intelligence, Charisma, and Manipulation ratings, but not much in the way of Wits or Stamina. Toreador are often Dabblers, particularly those afflicted with the derisive sobriquet “Poseurs.”
You befoul everything you touch. Whether through intent or unfortunate happenstance, your Domain, Retainers, Herd, and trappings are all tainted with the unholy. While this pollutes your surroundings with a constant aura of nausea and unease, it does make any infernal acts easier to perform in their presence. By taking this Merit, any Disciplines you use are considered infernal; at the Storyteller’s discretion, using your Disciplines on land you hold, on servants in your employ, or with objects you possess, reduces the difficulty of the roll by –2.Somehow you’ve drawn the scorn of the local Harpies, who make you their favorite target. You are at a +2 difficulty on all Social rolls in Elysium and a +1 anywhere else in the city. In addition, you are at +2 difficulty to use Intimidation or any Dominate powers on anyone who has heard the stories mocking you. This Flaw can only be taken by Camarilla vampires.
