| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I wanted to make this short and sweet, but i realised theres nothing short nor sweet about giving players the ability to choose for themselves.

| also: "Is X hero better than Y hero in Wyvern 13"
| Tier 0 - reserved for daddy Furious Use them if you have them or regret it
| With the checklist above in mind, each of the 4 slots on your team should contribute to at least one of those points. | Tier 1 - highly recommended for new players
| Below is my personal "tier list" for which are the best heroes for each slot, in terms of accessibility (where to get them) and effectiveness (how good they are). | Tier 2 - still great, but has some issues which make them not as good as Tier 1
| Tier 3 - usually not worth the effort to use them over better heroes
| Tier 4 - No. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Slot 1 (Tank/Healer) | Slot 2 (Support/Def Breaker)
| Hero | Accessibility | Effectiveness | Hero | Accessibility | Effectiveness
| Angelic Montmorancy | 3* Base Water Hero Available in Connections Available in Selective Summon Relatively easy Spec Change quest | She has competitive base stats compared to higher rarity tanks, especially effect resistance which helps her resist the CR knockback from Wyvern hits. She also has a strong heal on her S3, and access to good Soul Weaver Artifacts like Rod of Amaryllis or Magahara's Tome. | Furious | 4* Base Water Hero Available in Connections (After clearing 3-10 of second continent) | Best in slot, no contest. He brings to the table a 100% uptime Crit buff and Def Break (assuming no unlucky resist from Wyvern). The Crit buff allows your DPS to focus more stats on Attack and CritDmg, which would increase their damage which also means faster/safer clear. He also has access to Ranger Artifacts like Song of Stars.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Crozet | 4* Base Water Hero Available in Connections Available in Selective Summon Doesn't require a lot of resources to get him started | As expected of a knight, he has high defensive stats which will help him take multiple turns of Wyvern hits. His S2 also helps him a little with tanking. Has access to Sword of Ezera, a HoT artifact which reduces damage taken from Wyvern by 30% at MLB.
| Taranor Guard | 3* Base Water Hero | T.Guard has really high Dual Attack Chance, combined with his skills, he could act as a secondary DPS while providing teamwide CR push and 75% chance to Def Break. T.Guard on a good day might outperform Furious on a bad day. Might.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Angelica | 4* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon Doesn't require a lot of resources to get her started | A soul weaver with comparably high defensive stats, she is "easier" to build compared to A.Momo, but serves more as a meatshield than a healer who can keep herself healthy as she does not have access to the high Effect Resistance A.Momo does. Also has access to good Soul Weaver Artifacts like Idol's Cheer.
| Tywin | 5* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon | Basically a weaker Furious for Wyvern. Though AoE Def Break on his S3 could help with clearing Wave 1 faster, and he does have a Crit Buff/CR Push on S2 but very inconsistent when used on autobattle.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| General Purrgis | 4* Base Light Hero Available in Moonlight Summon Doesn't require a lot of resources to get him started | A warrior with slightly less defensive base stats compared to Crozet/Angelica, however what he brings to the table is an incredibly powerful teamwide CR boost every time he gets hit, which would be thrice a turn. This makes it significantly easier to gear your other heroes as they do not require nearly as much speed. Additionally, he has access to Exclusive Equipment (EE) which could either make him tankier or increase the CR boost amount.
| Luluca | 5* Base Water Hero | 2 Sources of Def Break on her S1 and S3, but neither has 100% chance to land. She helps with clearing first wave quickly but is not worth using over Furious.
| Who to use? | Why? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| New Player with free gears | Furious | He's too good
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Players with decent gears | Furious > Taranor Guard > Luluca | T.Guard only if you're into unity memes or something, I don't know just use Furious.
| Krau | 5* Base Water Hero | Truthfully,it is a waste to use him as a tank for Wyvern 13 as he's way stronger in PVP content. Other than high base defensive stats, he offers nothing more than the other heroes above.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tywin | 5* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon | Same as Krau, it is a waste to use him as a meatshield for Wyvern 13.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Rose | 4* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon | Has access to defensive knight artifacts like Crozet, she also provides Attack Buff which can help with consistent turn tuning to clear first wave and can be used in other content if you get ever plan on replacing her.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Diene | 5* Base Water Hero Limited Hero | Grants a teamwide Attack buff for first wave, and great turn cycling with her innate CR push. Can be built as Effres tank or full HP/DEF tank for Wyvern. Best used with Rod of Amaryllis as none of her skills heal.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Who to use? | Why? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| New Player with free gears | G.Purrgis > Crozet > Angelica > A.Momo | G.Purrgis speeds up your run significantly while still being tanky enough to survive on the free HP set. Crozet/Angelica are cheaper to build than A.Momo, and new players might not want to dedicate that much resources.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Players with decent gears | G.Purrgis > A.Momo > Angelica > Crozet | G.Purrgis is still the best, but A.Momo with setup can tank better than the other two. Angelica and A.Momo can both use Idol's Cheer which speeds up runs as well.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Slot 3 (DPS) | Slot 4 (Filler- ST DPS or AoE DPS or additional Debuffer)
| Hero | Accessibility | Effectiveness | Hero | Accessibility | Effectiveness
| Alexa | 3* Base Water Hero Available in Connections Available in Selective Summon | One of the best Wyvern DPS due to her S1's additional attack on crit, which scales with Daydream Joker to deal massive amounts of damage every turn even with beginner gear. Cheap to start and can scale incredibly well into late game with better gear. | Mistychain | 3* Base Water Hero | One of the only 3* water hero with 100% chance debuffs on her S2 with relatively short cooldown. Able to equip either DDJ as subdps/healer or Sira'Ren for random debuffs. Basically your only option if you don't have Sigret or Furious with Song of Stars.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Sigret | 5* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon | The best Wyvern DPS, with great skill multiplier, plenty of debuffs on low cooldowns and a S3 which can penetrate up to 100% defense for massive damage. A must have from selective summon if your goal is to start farming Wyvern 13 as soon as possible. | Alexa | 3* Base Water Hero Available in Connections Available in Selective Summon | Yes, Alexa can act as a secondary DPS if your main is Seaside Bellona or Sigret, and her S2 has up to 2 100% poison debuffs which each does upwards of 10k damage to Wyvern per tick.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Taranor Guard | 3* Base Water Hero | Could work as a 4th if your DPS is Alexa since her constant S1 spam will also mean more chances to proc T.Guard's Dual Attack. Bonus points for having additional utility in his CR push and Def Break.
| Luluca | 5* Base Water Hero | Good multipliers as usual, strong AoE S3 to deal with first wave, and EE which could either help with debuffs (Atk down on S3) or additional damage (Extra S1 proc), unfortunately her S2 is basically a waste of a turn which makes her not as great as the top tier DPS.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Luluca | 5* Base Water Hero | She might actually be better as a secondary DPS/Debuffer with her Atk Down S3 with EE, she still has the same issues mentioned in her DPS slot, but its not as bad if you're using a better DPS.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Chloe | 5* Base Water Hero Available in Selective Summon | She has a special debuff (Magic Nail) which has 100% uptime and cannot be resisted which is a pseudo Daydream Joker for any hero which hits the debuffed enemy. Her high damage S3 does even more damage against enemies with Magic Nail, which allows her to do immense amounts of damage.... if autobattle is kind enough to set her up for it.
| Seaside Bellona | 5* Base Water Hero Limited Hero | Same as her DPS slot explanation, her kit just works well for Wyvern, biggest downside is her being limited.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Kise | 5* Base Water Hero | Her damage multipliers are really good. Unfortunately she doesn't have the same levels of damage as Sigret with similar setup and she does not provide any utility to the team unlike Sigret/Chloe. While she does excel at destroying barriers, any respectable Wyvern 13 comp will be able to kill it before its first barrier phase even happens. | Muwi | 3* Base Water Hero | Decently strong DPS with a lot of utility in his kit such as AoE CR push when the whole team is ice (similar to G.Purrgis), AoE attack with def break on s3 and bleeds and atk down on s1 and s2, respectively. Will make runs consistent and pretty fast just by himself
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Karin | 4* Base Water Hero | She could work as a subdps, but she's not as good as Alexa for abusing Daydream Joker, and her Def Break uptime is bad. You have a better case of using her if you have Torn Sleeve artifact.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Seaside Bellona | 5* Base Water Hero Limited Hero | Good damage multipliers to scale with Daydream Joker, provides additional debuffs, and has potential to hit more than once per turn with S2. Additionally, she's incredibly good for killing the first wave which helps with skill rotations for the entire team. Her S1 also has target debuff, which increases damage dealt to Wyvern.
| Clarissa | 4* Base Water Hero Available in Selective | Good secondary dps. Has Aoe for wave one, guaranteed bleed debuff on s1 for 2 turns (with EE), will help with def break in case your main def breaker fails to apply it, and over all good dps thanks to Day- dream Joker
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Luna | 5* Base Water Hero Limited Hero | Way too RNG heavy S1, if you're lucky she could probably match Alexa in terms in damage, but if you aren't she's really lackluster. Her innate Crit on S2 isn't even that good for Wyvern since Furious alone is more than enough free Crit for any water DPS to 100% Crit. Her S3 cooldown is tied to her S1 RNG, she's above average at best and pathetic at worst. | Who to use? | Why?
| New Player with free gears | Clarissa = Muwi > Seaside Bellona > Alexa > Mistychain > T.Guard = Luluca > Karin | Seaside Bellona is OP. Mistychain has good debuffs, Alexa has good backup damage and debuff, the rest are harder to build or inconsistent.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Players with decent gears | Seaside Bellona = Clarissa > Muwi > Alexa > Mistychain > T.Guard =Karin | Seaside Bellona, Luluca and Alexa are almost as good as main DPS damage with good gear while still bringing utility, Mistychain isn't that great in terms of DPS, Clarissa AoE and consistent debuffs are still good, and the rest are still inconsistent or slow.
