8/27/2013 13:20:5744444Collaboration with other principals in my profession.Could have used a little more time in collaboration in small groups with other principals.I would like to meet in the future with the principals once a month.Why is it important to deal with the information I have learned today in the 10 day time frame.Thank you for the meal and continued opportunity to grow as a principal.

8/27/2013 13:21:4645455This was one of the first meetings where I was able to actually discuss the perceived personal barriers that prevent me from feeling good about what I am doing as a principal. It made me examine those barriers in greater detail and come up with a plan on how to address or eliminate those barriers.Follow this same presentation format at future meetings.I don't really know at this time.

I also set some goals that I want to follow through with to be an better educational leader. Thank youI wasn't prepared for what we were going to discuss, not sure I needed to be Little more communication on what was going to happenaccountably, maybe even be a collaborative partner with the person you met with today trade emails and ask how it is going.I think we all believe in the process and want to get things off our plate, but I am still not sure how to make some of this happen in a small rural community.

It would also help to provide a map of where this facility is located in Pocahontus.The guidelines for implementing the beach ball activiity.

8/27/2013 13:22:4744445First, as a new administrator I appreciate the networking factor. I say as a new administrator, but I feel this will always be a strong factor for me. Equal value would be the tools provided to help me move forward effectively.I take away the idea presented at one point I takes on an average 30 attempts to efficiently implement a new strategy, but many fall out after 5. I plan to make to 30 on at least one tool offered today. I just really felt like part of the success of today was due to the idea of "just right" You know--not too little--not too much--just right. Well paced and no overload.

None -- while it would have nice to spend more time with aggragated responses, given our limited time I think time was spent on the activities that were most productiveI would love to be able to attend Fierce Conversations training in order to develop my facilitation skills and become a more efficient & effective leader.

The Beach Ball model was a great interactiv e lesson. I am anxious to use it in our next teacher's meeting.
Can it be fit into a morning only session? Maybe over at noon?I need to have better technology skills myself so I could model that piece in our school. I wish my staff could see the Beach Ball model from a presenter other than myself.The year gets busy and the teachers like Jeff mention tend to be overpowering. I leave energized and hope it stays and I can draw on these experiences today.Had a great day! Thank you.

8/27/2013 13:24:3145344I am not really worried about the amount I learned. I am more worried about the quality. Today's quality was great!
Time frame was good. Perhaps a little later start, but I realize that affects the total time, etc. . I really liked the opportunity to meet with fellow administrators that serve buildings/staff like me! Great conversations! I can't tell you how much I appreciate today.
Perhaps a 9 AM start time. ????Continued opportunities like today. That the assumptions that we have may actually be reality. The support to stick our necks out and do the things we have identified to do.Thanks for supplying a day like this. I look forward to future ones!
