                                                         Community Dinner provided by the Zen Center

                                                                                                           (The Zen Center provides the meal on the second Monday of the month to anyone on Vashon in need of a meal.)

                                                      **  The goal of providing dinner is to integrate the Zen Center into the Vashon Interfaith Council on Homelessness by participating in one of their core functions - providing food to those in need on Vashon.

                                                      **  Dinner consists of a main dish provided by one person, supplemented by side dishes.  Below (on the right side of the grid) will be some suggested additions to the main dish.

                                                      **  When figuring out how much food to prepare, we usually provide food for between 25-28 people.

                                                      **  If you are willing to help, please put your name and phone number in the appropriate section, along with what you will be providing.

                                                      **  TO HELP, PLEASE SIGN UP BY THE SATURDAY PRIOR TO THE MEAL!! **

** For questions that come up during the meal, Jim Hunziker is there every Monday providing Medical Care to people at the dinner. He will be able to answer your questions or help.

                 ****** All meals are served at 5:00 pm at the Methodist Church.  Please have what you are providing to the Church by 4:50 pm so we can start serving by 5:00 pm. ******
