I made an important social connection (e.g. a potential friend who I plan to keep in touch with), I discovered a new opportunity (e.g. a collaboration or volunteer project), I made a *minor* change to my plans, I made a *major* change to my plans

we should have been acted more like a group, i mean we should have shared more actions e.g. trash empting, preparing food, making places clear, going for tp, dishwashing etc etc it was like we have been pampered too much (i felt a bit embarrassed about it)

food was great and delicious, only my meat-eater belly wasn't prepared for going veggie for 4 days
evenings (board game, movie night, last eve) because we didn't rushed to do anything like getting the meals or going to talks, we could just sit together and enjoy ourselves while talking through moving, interesting topics
the rush (between two something), making so much trash
being more green, having a little more free time and/or arranging other ways the time table

For me it was the atmosphere. I enjoyed the sessions and the presentations as well - but these are usually great, so I already knew they were going to be cool. What actually surprised me was the amazing atmosphere. Everyone was really open-minded, supportive and I miss them already tbh.
At first I was afraid of participating in such an event, but then, as a result of this event, I realized that there was honestly nothing to worry about!

Both the EA fellowship and the conference have been a wonderful use of my time. 10/10. I don't understand the math required in this question!
I made an important social connection (e.g. a potential friend who I plan to keep in touch with), I discovered a new opportunity (e.g. a collaboration or volunteer project), I got exposed to a lot of interesting content and information and I am super excited and inspired to learn more.

I really enjoyed how stress-free the environment was, with some sessions being optional. this gave us time to rest and be more prepared for the sessions that we attended. The quality of organization compared to any other event I have attended was outstanding, the organizers were friendly which made this conference feel like a bunch of friends hanging out in a big beautiful house.

The discussions, people sharing their ideas, food. Because I love people and food. And it helped me learn so much more and become more open.
Monday because I couldn't spend the day with everyone, but I was happy to go home and sleep!
Study more, become more active
I have attended some social events before but this has been the best thing I have been a part of. Perfect venue, perfect organization, selection of people, logistics, level of comfort provided to attendees, I would say this event was an absolute success.

I liked that there was no feeling of hierarchy, and that organizers were moderating the process and time rather than controlling it. The free time/ work time ratio was also very comfortable.

I was happy that we were not constantly pressed about timing, it was good that we always had 5-7 minutes to gather and no one was pressing us. But sometimes I was confused about the updated schedule, because I didn’t have stable internet. Everything else was great!
Relaxed vibe but also a lot of productive talks and activities. I really wish this combination would remain for the next conferences.
And among the activities I enjoyed discussions and lighting talks most
Some guest speakers had good topics and materials, but we’re not able to deliver them in a way that would spark the interest and keep it for the rest of the talk. I saw a lot of people seeming bored and regaining interest only at the discussion part of the talk.
However, I know that everyone enjoyed the last talk on decision making, so I would love to see more strong speakers like that on the future conferences.
I want to get involved in EA community more, learn more about the mental health crisis solutions within EU and hopefully have some discussions about it in the future fellowships. Also prepare a lighting talk for the next conference 🙂

It was more valuable since most presentations were held live and per person whcih made it a lot easier to connect and communicate in my opinion. It was a good use of my time to be there since I was either reading interesting and lightetning books, having mindful conversations, listening to presentations about attention-demanding topics or just socialising in general which is also good. Just one thing (which we've discussed a little bit with Ákos and Gyuri and Ashewe) that although it was a nice and interesting weekend I somehow feel although the topics we important to know about we didn't like actually do something useful and good)

They gave me support and good ideas, however, I think in general the Hungarian EA is pretty new to everything (thanks Gergő and everyone for making it happen!) so maybe we still have some general questions that we don't know yet because of the lack of experience, which I believe will come with the years of time spent in the community.

I just feel like we sort of did more harm than good in a way. Firstly we ate all vegan which is obviously excellent and all but we did produce immense amount of trash in my eyes. And it's not against you guys because I'm super thankful for you're help and support and it must've been really tough to organise everything for us but I was thinking that we should definitely have another retreat and I am here stating: I am MORE than willing to put together a small team (I believe (or hope atleast, but I'm pretty positive) that some of us would be totally willing to do logistics of the camp to make it more zero-waste style. And with that already I would feel that even though we had amazing and inspiring talks and conversations held, we were also actually doing good for the planet, or at least preventing throwing away this much. And in case I get sick again I'll just figure out a way to compost my tissues or something :D.
The Impostor syndrom presentation since it had a meaning to me personally and also the presentation on Sunday about decision making and how we're influenced during doing so.
S-Risks and X-risks. I am really sorry, maybe I was just super deconcentrated (I was also sick so maybe take that into consideration) but I didn't find the presentation entertaining and engaging at all and therefore in the end I had a pretty hard time understanding the whole thing. The PPP file was not really my thing either (personally I am very visual and would of needed more elements in the presentation/more slides)
I want to read more books about the topic and also try and scedule some 1-1 conversations whilst maintaining my balance of self-time as well.

It is hard to evaluate the Conference in contrast to the fellowship. Both are useful in a different way. Rather, I would say that the Conference was a wonderful addition to the fellowship, and thus the participation in the Conference just is both, a valuable use of time, and a knowledge multiplier of the fellowship.

The mandatory sessions and lightning talks, in the light of the knowledge I got; and the random 1-1s, since they made me discover people to whom I didn’t initially paid enough attention.
Engage more with EA Hungary, and (hopefully manage to) contribute to its development, and dive deeper into one of the key cause areas of EA Community.
