K-3 What should be the next step for this level?Continue to develop already existing MCL teams before adding more sectionsEstablish routine and protocol and common language. continue customizationFurthering customization within more content levels such as Sci/SS. ELA is strong and math is in progress. More Voice and Choicee within other content areas.Help the non MCL/traditional classrooms move more towards personalized/customized learning. Take a deeper look at schedulingIncreasing "buy in" with more staff, not just in MCL. Providing PD opportunities for staff to learn about customization, personalization, and other methods/approaches that are good practices for all classes, not just MCL.Current K-3 teams work together on science/ss LOs (summer?) to create continuity. Professional development opportunities for staff to learn more customizatizing in all classrooms.

Intermediate What should be the next step for this level?Continue to develop already existing MCL teams before adding more sectionsContinue to strive for MCL and progress towards that district goal with existing and upcoming teamsContinue working closely with the elementaries to maintain consistency. Start to colloborate with the middle school to establish protocol. Professional development opportunitiesCollaboration between transitions whether 3rd combining to 4th or 5th moving out to 6th.Continue to move to towards customized learning- collaborate with K-3s and MSReflecting on this year and communicating with the 3rd grade and middle school about the transition for the learners that are coming their way.Continue implementation following the pilot of the K-3s to support numbers and growth. Work on opening schedules to allow for more flexibility on learner choice. Add opportunities to collaborate with 3rd transitioning in as well as 5th transitioning to MMS.
4
MS What should be the next step for this level?Professional development for all teachers, try to encorporate one lesson with personalizationCommunicate w/ K-5.
Establish MCL team
Professional Development to help implement changes
Professional developement, middle school starts collaborating with the intermediate school and start communication with the high schoolMeet with Camelot teachers, observe and discuss possibilities to learn from one another. Professional development time to work with content areas and also as a team. Build capacity within the entire building.Professional development; collaboration with intermediate and hsForming an idea of what it will look like, communicating with Camelot, --> Provide professional development for ALL teachers to build capacity around the elements of implementing "best practices" related to personalized/customized learning
--> By May 2020 - Classroom visits to MCL schools (Camelot, Harrisburg, etc.) for ALL teachers
--> Spring 2019 - Site-based workshops w/ TIE (6-Black + reps from all other teams) to develop common expectations and understanding
--> Collaboration w/ Camelot (and BHS)
5
HS What should be the next step for this level?Visit schools/classrooms that have implemented personalized and/or customized learning. Look at other schools that have broken the "walls"Continue to look at how MCL can fit into Pathways & new graduation standards
Communicate w/ K-8
Decide how MCL will look with new graduation requirements and how electives will look. Decide how it will transition from MMSBeginning stages of MCL. We have started to visit MCL classrooms - we need to send more staff. Meet with Middle School staff. Create opportunities for PD. Defining essential standards and I Can statements, visit and see how other high schools do this. Determining what the model will look like (academy, MCL, etc.). How will this blend with middle school model? --> Professional development for ALL teachers to build capacity around the elements of implementing "best practices" related to personalized/customized learning
--> Classroom visits to Harrisburg for ALL teachers
--> Site-based workshops w/ TIE (6-Black + reps from all other teams) to develop common expectations and understanding
--> Collaboration w/ Camelot (and BHS)

K-3 Where do we hope to be 2 years from now?Data from all stakeholders support full implementation of MCL K-3Continue to fine tune elementary procedures. Opportunites for growthK-3 are full implementation of all content areas. Expanding offerings with more teams.Going away from courses; allowing more student choiceAll teachers are using best practice and implementing aspects of customization (movement of learners, voice and choice, flexibile scheduling, etc.). Opportunities for growing MCL, based on parent interest and district limitations.
7
Intermediate Where do we hope to be 2 years from now?Data from all stakeholders support full implementation of MCL 4-5Looking to expand w/ the goal of full implementation to meet the needs of K-3 learners entering CamelotContinue to monitor growth to determine decisionsOpen more opportunities within scheduling.More opportunities for multiage opportunities, learners moving between 4th and 5th standards/LOs.
8
MS Where do we hope to be 2 years from now?continued professional develop and implementation of MCLcustomized learning at all three grade levels. Continue to address needs as they present themselvesMoving from personalization to customization The MS will have an understanding of how academis and MCL blend together. Possibly have more than one grade level doing MCL. All teachers can incorporate ideas from MCL.--> During 2020-2021 school year, there will be MCL teams at 6th and 7th grade.
--> During 2020-2021 school year, all teams will implement an element of personalized learning
9
HS Where do we hope to be 2 years from now?Have a schedule (non-schedule) in place to allow for MCLFigure out the way to fuse MCL into the Pathways modelcollaborate with the middle school.to be ready for implementation. Hopefully we will be able to implement a team of MCL (initial stages) along with adding more voice and choice school wide. Middle School will be sending their first group to us 3 years from now. halfway through first year of an opt-in customized setting The HS will have determined which program--MCL, pathways/academies, etc.--it will pursue, and teachers will be involved in PD that will help them implement the best pracitices for that customization or personalization route. Hopefully, all teachers will be trying to incorporate "voice and choice" into their courses.
