1This data was collected over a period of about 4 days at the end of January 2019 (24th-28th) in response to a Google Survey called "Year-Round Family Cycling: Urban settings".
4
2The instructions for the survey were as follows: "A short survey for parents who (have) cycle(d) with their families in (sub)urban settings. The purpose of this survey is to learn more about other people's lived experiences of year round utility cycling or commuting (for school, lessons, daycare, etc.) to help inform content for an upcoming panel conducted by the surveyors at the 2019 Winter Cycling Congress."

3What is available here is a sheet of "All data (raw)" as imported from the .csv data from the survey. (Obviously, I have removed any email addresses collected.)
6
4Also available are six tabs of results (but not all analysis is shown as some was done on other sheets and collated to the themed tab of results.
7
5This survey was whipped up really quickly and, of course, could have used some better questions or had data collected in a way that facilitated easier analysis (or a more skilled analyser ha!). All in all, it was very interesting and makes me want to learn even more!
8
6Assumptions were made on whether a not a "Hometown" experienced a generally mild, wet, or snowy winter period (on average); some of these assumptions may be incorrect but hopefully just a few if any.
9
7All data from questions where multiple answers were permitted (i.e. checkboxes) were hand tallied (so there may be some error... I tried my best!).
10
8For the questions with check boxes, "other" was permitted. When "other" was consistently the same, I created a column to tally the frequency of those answers. Since this particular answer was not available to all respondents, the frequency of these answers could be higher as oftentimes respondents do not completely recall all of the reasons for their choices unless prompted.
