Marchant vs. Edtar Marchant, Decree Nisi for cruel and abusive treatment, with custody of minor children to libellant. (BP April 22, 1895); Edgar Marchant, who plead guilty to indictment for indecent assault upon Eva Gray ... was sentenced to 3 years in the House of Correction at Barnstable. (BP Oct. 25, 1897) Edgar Marchant, a resident of Centre Street, committed suicide Thursday at his home, by hanging. The fatality was first reported by his cousin, Millard Gray, who lived with him and who found his body. Mr. Marchant had recently been in ill health.
