WIRED ON WORDS

Friday, August 5 - I attended the two-minute preview session on Thursday and was intrigued by this performance. I ended up going to the show on the following Friday. I should note that I suffer from a little bit of tinnitus, and that likely played a role in my enjoyment of the show. On Thursday I had no problem hearing the performer but on Friday the volume was turned way down. To further complicate things the performer frequently speaks, away from the microphone and for my wife and I, we completely missed what she was saying. Even though we were not able to hear 50-70% of the performance, the show was touching and well executed. Try to get seats very close to the front if you can. Darrel w.

Friday, August 4 - I have never been so unhappy with an artists inability to project her voice or use the microphone properly. I am sure I only caught 20% of what she was saying and it was some frustrating. I have slight hearing loss, but hear other actors, so it wasn't only me. It is the first time I wanted to walk out of a Fringe play. 1/5

Saturday, August 5 - I agree that the performer was hard to hear at this performance, but the show was creative, funny, poignant, and absolutely delightful! A great testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Deserée W.
