2/4/2021 11:29:05KristopherShinnThis little neighborhood gem encourages community and they’re doing absolutely nothing wrong. There’s absolutely no reason this place should be shut down.
3
2/4/2021 11:29:08MaddyPorterIt's such a bright spot in this dark year! A small business making it work, and a place the community loves.
4
2/4/2021 11:30:15Katie RoussoI love yonder because it perfectly represents the neighborhood where it resides. Delicious cider, great staff and the cutest swag
5
2/4/2021 11:30:39ChrisChappellGreat cider!
6
2/4/2021 11:31:24JennyHandyShort answer: community
7
2/4/2021 11:31:58EmilyTerzicYonder Bar has added a piece of life to the neighborhood that I couldn't imagine leaving at this point. During these pandemic times, Yonder Bar has still managed to bring people together and encourage a community to support this local business.
8
2/4/2021 11:33:01LydiaHazelIt’s a Covid-safe way to get the personal connection I missed from not going to bars.
9
2/4/2021 11:33:18HannahCottleFostering of community and addition of levity to the community. During the end of the world, Yonder's bar has been a great pitstop on my socially-distant walks.
10
2/4/2021 11:34:06KatieMcClureI’ve only been a phinney resident for a few months now and recently discovered the yonder bar. It was an absolute delight to find such a hidden gem in my new neighborhood. When family and friends ask what I love about the neighborhood, yonder bar is almost certainly mentioned as one of my favorite spots; it’s quirky, fun, and has dang good cider.
11
2/4/2021 11:35:18MilesLippoldGreat cider + great branding!
12
2/4/2021 11:35:25McKenzie RoersMore of the question is “what not to love”!
13
2/4/2021 11:36:05ErinKraftWe love taking a neighborhood walk and being able to support our neighbor’s business endeavors. Plus during Covid this offered a chance to get delicious cider without having to go inside somewhere. As a new mom, I can take a stroller walk with the babe and pick up a mom treat for after my babe goes to bed.
14
2/4/2021 11:36:29KyleNorthcottThe cider! The branding! The location! The people! Why on earth would anyone want to shut this little slice of joy down? The pandemic has hurt so many - we should embrace the fact that Yonder is trying to survive and thrive (AND employ people). Plus everything they make is just straight up delicious. HOW ABOUT THEM APPLES?
15
2/4/2021 11:36:51JessiePolinYonder has been a great addition to the Seattle craft beverage scene!
16
2/4/2021 11:36:59KylieDardisWhat an amazing concept to have a fun, friendly, and polite walk-up bar for the community to engage with on a street that's already designated for foot traffic. It's truly an innovative way to build community especially during the pandemic and has been an awesome monthly trip from Kirkland for us to get out of the house and do something different while supporting a small business that makes a great product.
17
2/4/2021 11:37:10sholehsharifthe cider is so good - but even better is the staff at yonder bar! i’ve always been greeted with sweet smiles (under the mask) and good convos. i love visiting yonder!
18
2/4/2021 11:37:35AliciaCohnIt makes the neighborhood feel like a community! I don’t even live in Phinney but it makes me want to live there. I wish we had MORE places like Yonder. It’s such a special idea with an amazing product and a great brand. Seeing people in the neighborhood walking with their Yonder cans giving eachother lil nods makes me feel community in a time that feels so isolated. I’ve shared the story of Yonder bar with countless people and everyone loves it! Why would you take away this treasure! You should be encouraging more of it!!!
19
2/4/2021 11:37:53Ashley SofieDelicious cider!!
20
2/4/2021 11:40:13JennyVincentLove having an easy way to support local in my neighborhood!
21
2/4/2021 11:40:36NatalieStanleyIt’s one of the most unique spots in Seattle. And being a city losing its true character by the day, spots like these are necessary to keep Seattle thriving!
22
2/4/2021 11:40:38ErikaUkkestadAs an avid cider-lover living in Phinney during the pandemic, I was thrilled when Yonder opened and I could walk over to pick up some fantastic cider. I have walked many, many miles through that neighborhood in the past year, and it seemed to fit the vibe perfectly, especially with 1st being closed. I’m so saddened to hear that someone has rallied against them and hope that they’ll be able to continue business bring another little ray of sunshine to such a wonderful part of Seattle.
23
2/4/2021 11:41:48McKennaJannaschBesides their amazing cider, this place is such a blessing to my neighborhood and I look forward each week to buying from them.
24
2/4/2021 11:42:33HannahZaehringerYonder has been a bright spot in a dark time. It feels like a true organic moment of community in our little neighborhood. That I can walk from my house to their open garage and support my neighbors by sharing in the passion of good cider is extraordinary. How devastating that people are still so puritanical about alcohol that they cannot see how much Yonder has done to bring joy and community to our streets.
25
2/4/2021 11:43:47DavidClarkThanks for being a unique part of our community! In times when leaving the house can be stressful, you’ve set yourself as a safe, respectful, and loved destination.
26
2/4/2021 11:46:19ShannonTimkeThe cider is delicious and the Yonder Bar adds such charm to the neighborhood.
27
2/4/2021 11:47:08KayleeAndrewsDelicious cider, amazing merch, and a wonderful staff! Yonder has been a bright spot for me during the tough times of 2020-2021!

30
2/4/2021 11:47:57LiamMunroWhat a cool addition to the neighborhood I grew up in! Yonder Bar is a great example of the innovative fun things that seattleites can achieve when we think outside the box. It’s a great focal point for the neighborhood and point of pride for us from Phinney Ridge.
31
2/4/2021 11:48:58TimmDavisonIt’s awesome! It’s a fun little garage that cells great cider, with friendly folks serving up cider and treats for the pups! Always a line up the street, clearly most people love this quirky addition to the hood!
32

2/4/2021 11:49:15MatthewRudorferGood people. Great Cider. Fantastic Brand.
34
2/4/2021 11:49:20JessicaInwoodIt brings so much joy to have such a unique and friendly place in our neighborhood, not just for the cider, but the sense of community it has created in this difficult time of Covid. Thank you!!
35
2/4/2021 11:49:32NikiFerrisIt’s my brother’s fave neighborhood spot!
36
2/4/2021 11:50:02NicoleKrawczewicz First and foremost — quality cider!! But also, Yonder Bar is a lively, welcoming part of the neighborhood. It has shown our community what innovation looks like in the midst of the most challenging circumstances.
37
2/4/2021 11:51:26HeatherMcGuinnessYonder Bar is an amazing community spot and such an innovative idea for a covid-safe gathering place in the neighborhood! I love that it’s a woman-owned business and the cider is so tasty.
38
2/4/2021 11:51:32Alice MacLeanI love how it makes the safe street feel more like a community, pedestrian friendly street that is a gathering place, not just an area for cars. I love how innovative it is. I would be SO sad to see you go.
39
2/4/2021 11:52:37Christina DavisonIt’s right in my neighborhood, the cider tastes great and they are really nice
40
2/4/2021 11:53:14EmilyGrosseThis place is just up the street from our home, and we walk by almost every day on our trips around the hood. There’s always neighbors with the signature cans spotted all around the area. We’ve started conversations with strangers bc we both notice each other’s yonder gear! We love the vibe it brings to the area and the owners are always friendly and kind to us, and our kids! Please don’t leave this spot!!
41
2/4/2021 11:53:16BritaAndersonEveryone is so friendly and the cider is delicious! The bar is such a good idea in these covid times! Thank you!
42
2/4/2021 11:53:27JenniferMowryfirst of all yonder bar is the cutest little space. yonder bar is owned by some of the kindest humans and is a space that brings light and joy during these gray and uncertain times. seattle needs more cheery places like yonder bar.
43
2/4/2021 11:53:28BritaAndersonEveryone is so friendly and the cider is delicious! The bar is such a good idea in these covid times! Thank you!
44
2/4/2021 11:53:35JosephMalachThis unique, amazing concept has brightened up our neighborhood, created a better sense of camaraderie, and makes Greenwood unique.
45
2/4/2021 11:54:39JennyBrookinsThe amazing founder!! Delicious cider doesn’t hurt either!
46
2/4/2021 11:55:01Taylor JInnovative brand, delicious flavors, local focus!
47
2/4/2021 11:55:52SarahRoodIt's a fantastic neighborhood hub to bring local families together!
48
2/4/2021 11:55:53ChristinaWhitcombIt has breathed fresh life to our neighborhood in a time that is in dire need of community, fun and something positive. It has been such a treat to see how many people have come to grab a pack of tasty ciders and the jobs it has safety given to people during a pandemic. It has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, adding yet another great reason that living in Greenwood is the best!
49
2/4/2021 11:56:05MeiHsiehI love supporting local, small businesses in our backyard. We should be propping up innovative approaches to launching a business and selling directly to the community instead of stifling growth and ideas. Yonder Bar gave Greenwood a unique identity and a little bit of community magic in a world suppressed by the pandemic.
50
2/4/2021 11:56:05JenniPrattNot only does Yonder Bar help reinforce a strong sense of community for the Phinney neighborhood, but their cider is excellent! Its been such a wonderful addition to the area, and it breaks my heart to see it go. In times like these we need MORE opportunities to establish togetherness and create fun opportunities for interaction... we shouldn't be getting rid of them. What a shame.
51
2/4/2021 11:56:32AlexandraComnenosTheir commitment to building community and creating joy during this terrible, strange year in a safe way. I’d be heartbroken to see this little slice of creativity and love taken away.
52
2/4/2021 11:57:30JulieMasonGreat cider and a fun destination on dog walks!
53
2/4/2021 11:58:15AliciaClineYummy drinks and a killer brand
54
2/4/2021 11:58:18KaileyCrookThis place gave some joy in an otherwise joyless time. I can't put into words how good it felt to walk around my neighborhood, see community in action and support a small business
55
2/4/2021 11:59:05LouMaxonWe’ve visited multiple times and love the brand and product. Part of the connection beyond the delicious cider is the great experience visiting the bar! Please don’t close it down!
56
2/4/2021 11:59:10LaurenCarrGreat cider, a female and local owned small business with great branding and inclusive merch, this spot is what I love about this city!!
57
2/4/2021 11:59:44StellaMagnusonLove having this unique spot just three blocks from me! Such a great idea, yummy cider, and the nicest people!
58
2/4/2021 12:00:13HattieAndresDelicious local cider, friendliest staff, small businesses in Seattle and Seattle’s residential neighborhood are so important to culture an community!!
59
2/4/2021 12:00:36MorganManuelThis is such a unique and special experience. The staff here are wonderful and so full of joy. Really a bright spot during such a dark and difficult time for so many people! I am always excited to see new people trying them, getting their products at breweries and consistently supporting them through the bar as well! This unique PNW experience is something I am so glad I was at the front end of, and will always be a fan of!
60
2/4/2021 12:00:51AdrienneRathyWhen I lived in Phinney, it was a joy to be able to walk and grab some local cider, see neighbours on 1st, etc. COVID-19 has been hard these past 11 months, and Yonder gave the perfect 4pm on a Friday HH feel, even to pick up a local cider. Now that I have moved away from Phinney, I still find myself driving across town to pick up a 4 pack.
61
2/4/2021 12:00:51KelseyThorgalsenThis is the best idea to ever come to Phinney!! We come by often for a 4 pack. It has given us many moments of joy during the pandemic. We love you Yonder!
62
2/4/2021 12:01:01JennaGordonDelicious cider and awesome addition to the neighborhood
63
2/4/2021 12:01:05JuliaThorntonIt is a small, locally owned, neighborhood business- what we need more of in this city. It has been a rare bright spot for my partner and me during the pandemic. Plus, the cider is awesome.
64
2/4/2021 12:01:27HollyHargreavesYonder is a bright light in some sometimes pretty dark times lately. The staff is exceptional and so kind, it is quaint and honestly you wouldn’t even know the spot was there. It is a wonderful business with amazing cider, we love stopping on neighborhood walks and supporting the small business and other small businesses they collaborate with. Greenwood is a place of community and they exemplify the values of a place we love to call home. Save Yonder (garage) cider shop!! This is unfair treatment of small businesses in an already extremely trivial time. Sending all the love and we wi be there to stock up this week.
65
2/4/2021 12:01:55MichaelWronskiIts a perfect spot! Love walking through the neighborhood and experiencing the community atmosphere.
66
2/4/2021 12:03:04CurtisChandlerThis is such a great, small independent business. They make a great product and provide a wonderful experience for the neighborhood and Seattle as a whole.
67
2/4/2021 12:03:45BenjaminKellerI love being able to walk down the street and support a local business. The cider is great and in these pandemic times it’s places like yonder that help you feel better connected to the community.

As a resident of the neighborhood I find it unconscionable that the city would force successful businesses to close. The city of Seattle is too expensive to not look for innovative ways to allow local businesses to thrive.
68
2/4/2021 12:04:00MichaelUlatowski Reminds me of some of the best parts of the Midwest that bring neighbors and neighborhoods together. Forcing Yonder Bar to close would be a huge loss for our community.
69
2/4/2021 12:04:11CameronLancasterI live down the street and walk by daily. I love to stop by to chat with the friendly staff, who are always happy to answer questions and give my dog a treat. They are a great addition to the neighborhood!
70
2/4/2021 12:04:30Jena Postma Yonder has been SUCH a bright spot in the Ballard neighborhood and during this pandemic. The people behind the company are incredible, kind humans who just want to build community and provide product that brings joy and people together. There are only positives that come from Yonder and their cider bar — we must keep them alive and open.
71
2/4/2021 12:05:18DavidAlton Yonder Bar is the most adorable beacon of light in an incredibly difficult time. To be able to provide a small splash of happiness to the neighbors is something we all need.
72
2/4/2021 12:06:06AndrellPerezThere’s no where else like it !!
73
2/4/2021 12:06:54JeremeySilvaGreat cider, even better people!
74
2/4/2021 12:07:18MorganCoxBEST cider!! Spreading cheer and community. Love this small business model. Wish you were my neighbors!
75
2/4/2021 12:08:34CorynnYouderianDelicious cider, friendly people & delightfully convenient neighborhood location! What’s not to love?
76
2/4/2021 12:08:39ThaoDuongYonder Bar is a local business that has brought much joy to the community at Ballard. The company has good people behind them as well as a great mission. Their products are also amazing. I've really enjoyed Yonder Bar for the time it has been there and would love to see it stay.
77
2/4/2021 12:08:40DrewHighlandsIt’s delicious!
78
2/4/2021 12:09:27EliotOlsonLove having a locally-owned business operating a pleasant, quiet storefront in our neighborhood. The city should encourage more local business innovation instead of discouraging it!
79
2/4/2021 12:09:47KaileePriceIt’s been a special part of my quarantine weeks — a way to get out and see happy (masked) faces!
80
2/4/2021 12:09:57ReganGongIt’s not hurting anyone to have a fun little garage sell cider that is then taken home to consume!
81
2/4/2021 12:10:18FrancescaZitoThis innovative cider bar not only creates delicious cider, it’s a joy to have around and serves many in a non-intrusive way. The YonderBar is an asset to its neighborhood and should be considered as such and allowed to operate moving forward! The neighborhood and city of Seattle would be doing its community a disservice shutting Yonder down
82
2/4/2021 12:10:37FrannyWrightAmazing cider, a sense of community during these weird times, and extremely kind staff/ownership
83
2/4/2021 12:10:44HannahFuchigamiamazing, creative spot in the neighborhood!
84
2/4/2021 12:10:45AnnaBodneyI’ve actually never been but it seems like such a fun and exciting place to visit, and is a reason I want to make a trip out to the PNW to visit Yonder!!
85

87

88
2/4/2021 12:12:04AmeliaBourkeCommunity focused, great cider and pandemic friendly pickup!
89
2/4/2021 12:12:11HannahWinemilleryonder bar has been such a sweet spot of this pandemic! going on walks has become a ritual and stopping by yonder has been an absolute highlight. their friendly staff and to-die-for merch (for real, whoever is doing your marketing needs a raise) always make my experience memorable. I was first gifted a yonder growler for my birthday in september and i’ve never looked back. let’s save this neighborhood gem!!!
90
2/4/2021 12:12:26MonicaDiazNot only is the cider great, but the Yonder Bar is a great place to go when people need to get out of their homes. it is a lovely stop while on a walk. They are being very socially responsible, while also being amazing human beings who sell cider. The bar is located in a great spot to bring community together, which is what we need right now.
91
2/4/2021 12:12:28JamesArgiriouwe love having Yonder as part of our community on our stay healthy streets!
92
2/4/2021 12:13:35DaveRiddileGreat part of the Greenwood/Phinney community that provides fantastic cider in a safe and legal manner.
93
2/4/2021 12:13:44NickieLovellYonder is a fun, expressive, and community oriented company. Besides the days ciders they try to bring light in a darker time.
94
2/4/2021 12:14:41EvanPriceYonders location has been one of the safest, most covid-friendly establishments during this pandemic. Shutting this down would put up only another stumbling block for companies to stay afloat.
95
2/4/2021 12:14:52ElenaArosteguy It’s been such a bright spot in the neighborhood! Love walking by and having a friendly face say hello. Such a great, creative way to activate the street and neighborhood.
96
2/4/2021 12:15:09AprilBensonThis is a delightful little spot to have in the neighborhood! We love dropping by to pick up cider or just say hello to the staff. Yonder Bar adds warmth and fun to this little part of Phinney/Greenwood.
97
2/4/2021 12:15:57MarieLessleySuch a fun part of the community in a time where communities need to get creative to keep spirits high!
98
2/4/2021 12:16:29NicoleRodriguezYonders location has been one of the safest, most covid-friendly establishments during this pandemic. They’ve been respectful of their neighbors, had shortened hours, and willing to renovate a garage to kickstart a business! Shutting this down would put up only another stumbling block for companies to stay afloat.

2/4/2021 12:18:34KayMcCorkellI am in favor of neighborhood businesses that foster community during this very strange epoch of time.
