2 | Dr. Joseph F. Annelli | Throughout his 32 year federal career he was (and still is) an innovative thinker and one who pushed the needle forward with things like eradicating avian influenza from the live bird market system in NYC, eradicating pseudorabies from the US domestic swine herds, introducing the Incident Command System to Veterinary Services, building the APHIS EOC, building emergency programs activities from being a second thought to a world class response organization. He managed USDA’s engagement in the White House’s Avian and Pandemic Influenza Preparedness implementation plan while on detail to the USDA Secretary’s Office, leading the USDA International Avian and Pandemic Influenza Response Team, developing a Crisis Management Center at the Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome, leading USDA on Global Health Security at the White House, initiating the USDA wide One Health Joint Working Group, the Federal Interagency One Health Working Group, and finally founding and leading the USDA One Health Coordination Center. He now runs a non-profit Association of Federal Veterinarians where he is working with Congress to further establish One Health as the normative approach to resolving issues in biological systems. | https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dCIOA6nCZb8V9tfoNMrxkFhb9vrIpVKQ | Overview of One Health and the global One Health movement, Animal Health and One Health, Agricultural Systems and One Health, Disaster Preparedness and Relief and One Health, Implementing/Operationalizing One Health: Incorporating OH into organizational structures for legislation, policy and government systems, Zoonotic Diseases and One Health | Organizational challenges to implementing One Health systems | 37 years | English | North America and South East Asia | POHSolutions@gmail.com | Maybe | Any method of presentation would be acceptable. 50 | Dr. Loni Taylor | I am a passionate proponent of One Health as a clinical veterinarian turned researcher. My whole life has been defined by the idea behind One Health as I started out as an Agriculture Science major focusing on food production, become a veterinarian who practices large animal medicine for over a decade, and then finished a PhD in biomedical science with an emphasis in epidemiology. I wanted to be the person at the table who understood agriculture and animal medicine and how it so well fit into human medicine and public health. I am now an Assistant Professor in Epidemiology and my focus in molecular epidemiology with an emphasis on emerging infectious diseases. In practice, I have emphasized educating clients, colleagues, and staff on preventive medicine, zoonotic diseases, nutrition, and community/environmental health issues. Throughout my years of clinical experience, I have worked steadfastly to control the spread of zoonotic and other diseases including, but not limited to, transmission of bacterial pathogens (Leptospirosis, Salmonella, Campylobacter, etc.), and multidrug resistant bacteria, Lyme disease and other vector borne illnesses, fungal Infections, parasites, and viruses (especially Rabies). I am committed to raising public awareness of the One Health framework so that it can be used to tackle the interconnected threats of environmental degradation, climate change, loss of biodiversity, acceleration of the spillover of animal pathogens to humans, and the rise in animal and human diseases emanating from all these forces. | https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CDdNid6lSJoN_YcxM6qoXFoz7HefUNPw | Overview of One Health and the global One Health movement, Animal Health and One Health, Animals as Sentinels and One Health, Antimicrobial Resistance and One Health, Human – Animal Bond and One Health, Science Communications / Science Literacy and One Health, Vector-borne Diseases (Climate Change) and One Health, Welfare / Well-being of animals, humans, plants, planet, Zoonotic Diseases and One Health | 37 years | English and some French | North America, Canada and Global | avzeifman@gmail.com | Maybe | Online, panel discussion, or interview, if travel is required, all travel and lodging expenses must be paid by the organizers

94 | Amber N. Barnes, PhD, MPH | I utilize the One Health approach in my research at the intersection of zoonotic disease and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). I primarily study zoonotic enteric parasites that can be spread to humans and animals via water, food, and environmental contamination. My background and training in infectious disease epidemiology, environmental and global health, and One Health reinforces the need for a multidisciplinary response to many public health issues. Currently I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at the University of North Florida. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Global Health, Global Health: WASH, and Environmental Health. I supervise the Coastal One Health and Zoonoses (COHZ) lab. | https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XJ0dsTTwR9GHQfdjeXM8z0Ub8AsCk-LS | Animal Health and One Health, Environmental Health and One Health, Human Health and One Health, Animals as Sentinels and One Health, Agricultural Systems and One Health, Food and Water Safety and Security and One Health, Zoonotic Diseases and One Health | 10 years | English | amber.barnes@unf.edu | Maybe

96 | Kevin B. Donnelly, DVM, PhD, DABT | I am a doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM, Purdue University, 1993) and a veterinary pathologist (PhD, Colorado State University, 1998) and a board-certified toxicologist (American Board of Toxicology, 2014) with a 25-year career in the private sector working on human and animal drug development. My specialization on the leading edge of discovery and development in the pharmacotherapy of infectious and non-infectious diseases in comparative biomedicine puts me position to address key topics related to the interaction of animal and human disease both in the population (epidemiology) and in R&D (animal models, animal sentinels). Examples include zoonotic diseases, vector borne disease, antimicrobial resistance and residues, vaccination strategies, livestock agricultural issues, food security and nutrition, animal welfare, human animal bond, cancer research, metabolic disease research, and environmental health. 98 | Dr Sukumaran Ariyari | Am a Medical Professional with Masters in Public Health, worked in Govt Health department of Kerala state ( a state with unique Health indices), for more than 35 years, retired recently. During the last 9 years in service, functioned as state epidemiologist in the integrated disease surveillance program (IDSP), had many opportunities to respond to zoonotic disease outbreaks like Anthrax, Brucellosis, Avian Influenza, Leptospirosis, Nipah, Rabies, Legionella etc. this has convinced me the need for multidisciplinary approach to life threatening Zoonotic infections. The thesis for my Masters course(2004-05) was related to an environmental toxicity of a pesticide, named endosulfan, and this topic was selected for an International conference on Pesticide toxicity, at Arusha Tanzania ( 2008). Have been advocating for setting up a OH secretariat in my state through all available avenues. Had participated in Regional and National workshops on One Health initiatives, including those organized by Veterinary departments. | https://drive.google.com/open?id=1p0H7vrM3U83elhg2Plq5NuC2OxXVdyCL | Overview of One Health and the global One Health movement, Environmental Health and One Health, Human Health and One Health, Climate (Change) and Health discussion framed in One Health, Disaster Preparedness and Relief and One Health, Economics / Civil Society / Complex Systems and One Health, Human – Animal Bond and One Health, Implementing/Operationalizing One Health: Incorporating OH into organizational structures for legislation, policy and government systems, Integrating One Health into core/formal educational systems, curricula and structures, Integrating One Health into organizational structures for Research and Development, Non-Communicable Diseases and One Health, Vector-borne Diseases (Climate Change) and One Health, Zoonotic Diseases and One Health | Zoonotic disease outbreaks and multidisciplinary investigation | About 35 years in Primaryand secondary Health care including Health Administration, more than 10 years in Disease surveillance and response, now retired, involved in NGO works. | English, Malayalam ( Mother tongue) and Hindi ( basic) | Emerging zoonotic infections. | 007sukumar@gmail.com | Maybe | Online presentations with usual technical support, and sufficient time for preparation.
