Anytime I have had any questions she has answered right back or in a timely manner. Mrs Murphy and Mrs Pruitt have been great from my view and things Cambree tells. Cambree has been upset about not doing the Pledge every morning. They did in PreK and Kindergarten. Last year Mrs Owen and Mrs Dishmon were great also. Was able to attend some field trips before Covid. Always try to stay involved with things going on. Cambree is our grand daughter had her since 3 mths old, and we have adopted her. We also gotten Tania Kallam to help with her reading one night a week. | A- my daughter, nephews and grand daughter all attend Douglass, never had any problems.

I do think Douglass has done an awesome job accommodating families. My suggestion would be to maybe streamline the process for covid notifications. I have kids in multiple grades and received a call three times one Sunday. While I appreciate the alert it was heard to know if my child’s class was closed. Y’all failed these kids. | D- I thought teachers and tutors would be on the same page with helping a student progress, but apparently mrs brown in second grade doesn’t care because she won’t communicate with the tutor or give any type of help. But she has been like that all year. She might care about the kids but I can’t tell that she cares to help learn

I just wish the kids that were struggling with virtual school would’ve been allowed to attend in person learning. | I prefer not to answer this question. She never allowed him to get behind without notifying me. One if my daughter's teachers allowed her to get very behind in her work and never notified me at all. I suggest the teachers need to reach or you the parents more often and keep that line of communication open. | D. Chromebooks are in poor working condition. Kids went back to school with no possible way of stating 6 feet apart. Teachers did nothing to help the virtual kids better understand their curriculum. Individual tutoring should have been offered for children struggling. Zoom meetings were used for very quickly going over a lesson and for the children to write notes about it. I always heard "are you done yet? You need to hurry up" while my daughter took notes, yetshe never understood any of the material bc it was rushed.
