Our SRP 2023 show: "Rhonda Appleseed & the Tree that Learned How to Speak" Rhonda is a descendant of Johnny Appleseed, and everyone calls her Ronnie. When she learns about her great great uncle's story, she grows fascinated and then proud. Ronnie decides that she wants to follow in his footsteps. She decides she will protect nature and all the creatures on our planet from climate change. But how? She takes a journey to visit one of the beautiful, kind, wise old apple trees that Johnny planted so long ago to ask how she can help. The tree teaches her that her voice is needed to bring people together to do the right thing. This show complements the CLSP Summer Reading Theme: "All Together Now™" and the iRead Theme "Find Your Voice™" Both LIVE and VIRTUAL performances will be available for this show.

Dan Dan the Magic Man is once again creating an all new magic program for libraries. “All Together Now, Alakazam!” is designed to perfectly complement the Summer Reading theme for 2023 “All Together Now.” Performing in front of a custom backdrop designed for this new program, Dan presents a kid-friendly spectacular that is not like other magic shows. This new show is designed specifically for your library. The show consists of live animal friends, impossible magic tricks and off the wall comedy all themed around kindness and friendship. And the show features lots of audience participation, too. Since this is a magic show for libraries, throughout the show Dan will also be referencing various kindness and friendship themed children’s books and promoting your library in a fun and entertaining manner.

Ventriloquist Gary Ray Howell show is call "Puppet Magic", because it includes ventriloquisim and magic. Where puppets come alive and children become puppets. I have been a summer reading performer for many library systems in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and a few other states over the years and hope that you keep me in mind when you begin to schedule for summer 2023! My award winning juggling, family humor and audience antics are appropriate for all ages, including the adults! My 2023 summer reading program is: One Big Juggling Family! Brian Wendling reminds himself, and his audiences, that his program takes EVERYONE coming together to have a fun, high energy time with award winning juggling and audience antics! Here's to all of us! My fee for a 45-55 minute program has a $250 base fee, with mileage added on if out of the immediate Kansas City area. Scheduling multiple libraries on consecutive days is one way to lower the cost for all of the libraries involved. Lodging may be added on for multiple day bookings, but many times this is much less than the mileage involved for said bookings. For several libraries scheduled on the same day, I prefer to structure travel so that I can arrive 45 mns before the performance start time for each library, in order to load in and set up before the patrons arrive to settle in. I can accommodate any library setting, but always appreciate having some space to use my bigger props. But any setting can work! I am an International Jugglers Association team champion and have been at the Kansas City and Oklahoma Renaissance Faire for decades.
