Die Bibliothek Luttmissen (engl. Luttmissen Library = LL) wurde ursprünglich eingerichtet, mit dem Ziel, interdisziplinäre Wissenschaft und die Potenzialentfaltung der Menschheit zu fördern.

LL wurde am 22. Mai 2025 von Julian Nalenz eröffnet. Die derzeit insbesondere betrachtete Forschungsfrage lautet: "Warum ist die Welt so geworden, wie sie ist?". Es wird insbesondere ein großer Fokus auf die deutsche Wissenschaftsliteratur zwischen etwa 1900 und 1933 gelegt, unter der Annahme, dass viele dieser Werke das Bildungssystem der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ab 1949 und damit das Denken der meisten Menschen, die in Deutschland eine Schule oder Universtität besucht haben, entscheidend geprägt haben. Es geht hierbei nicht unbedingt immer um den aktuellsten Stand der Forschung, sondern darum, wie die Menschen damals dachten und wie diese Denkmuster noch heute in der Gesellschaft verankert sind, insbesondere durch daraus entstandene Institutionen und Machtstrukturen.

Zudem umfasst LL diverse Werke rund um alternative Ansätze zur Strukturierung von Politik, Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft, mit dem Ziel, diese Ansätze zu popularisieren und jenes Wissen besser verfügbar zu machen. Gemeinsam mit Luttmissen Publishing bildet LL einen der ersten Grundpfeiler zur Luttmissen Community, die sich noch in der Konzeptionsphase befindet.

LL legt besonderen Wert auf eine möglichst breite Abdeckung an Themengebieten. Sie versteht sich als grundsätzlich generalistisch, sie erstrebt also die Kultivierung von einem umfassenden Schatz an Allgemeinwissen. The Luttmissen Library (LL) was originally established with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary science and the unfolding of human potential.

It was founded by Julian Nalenz on May 22, 2025. The currently prioritized research question is: "Why has the world become the way it is?" Particular emphasis is placed on examining German academic literature from approximately 1900 to 1933, under the assumption that many of these works have significantly shaped the educational system of the Federal Republic of Germany since 1949—and thus also the thinking of most people who attended school or university in Germany. The focus is not necessarily on the most current state of research, but rather on understanding how people thought at that time and how these patterns of thought are still embedded in society today, especially through the institutions and power structures that emerged from them.

In addition, LL includes various works on alternative approaches to structuring politics, society and the economy, with the aim of popularizing these approaches and making this knowledge more readily available. Together with Luttmissen Publishing, LL forms one of the first pillars of the Luttmissen Community, which is still in the conception phase.

LL places special importance on covering as broad a range of topics as possible. It sees itself as fundamentally generalist, striving to cultivate a rich body of general knowledge. Die Bibliothek Luttmissen versteht sich als Knoten in einem Netzwerk aus unabhängigen, von Privatpersonen geführten Bibliotheken. Es wird Wert darauf gelegt, insbesondere technisch einfach aufsetzbare und einfach nutzbare Lösungen zu popularisieren, um den menschlichen Austausch über gemeinsame literarische Interessen zu fördern. Dies bedeutet auch, dass Interessierte dieses Spreadsheet uneingeschränkt kopieren, verändern und verbreiten dürfen, um es für eigene Zwecke zu nutzen. Haftung ist ausgeschlossen.

Besuch und Entleihe sind ausschließlich nach persönlicher Einladung möglich. Die Registrierung und das Ausleihen von Büchern ist stets kostenlos. Englisch und Deutsch sind als Kommunikationssprachen gleichermaßen erwünscht.

It emphasizes promoting technically simple and easy-to-use solutions to encourage human exchange based on shared literary interests. This also means that interested individuals are free to copy, modify, and distribute this spreadsheet without restriction for their own purposes. Liability is excluded.

Visits and loans are only possible by personal invitation. Registration and borrowing books are always free of charge. Both English and German are equally welcomed as languages of communication.
