46	2	Start date for 2027/2028 shown for indication only. ESF recommends individuals and families avoid making travel plans for August 2027 until the school start date and back-to-school dates are confirmed.
47	3	Three ESF-wide Professional Learning Days (PLD) are fixed to allow for School-based and ESF-wide collaboration, which are scheduled on 10 August, 26 October and 15 February. Two other PLDs are at the school's discretion to be scheduled during term time. Schools will confirm the dates for those two days.
48	4	The final calendar will be issued following the Hong Kong Government's gazetting of 2027 public holidays in mid 2026, at which time a final calender will be published.
