The purpose of this sheet is to get a record of software companies that are operating in Sri Lanka. Note that software companies includes SaaS companies - that's just a different way to distribute the product.

Software company means companies that produce software products and sell them and NOT companies that provide offshore services, product engineering services or whatever.

The company may or may not have legal presence and physical offices but may just be employing the engineers and other staff directly as contractors / consultants to a foreign entity.
