The product page for their own brand is much better than the other brands. Those have wonderful descriptions and pictures with models. The other brands get a lesser treatment and that bothers me a lot. Can easily tell they invested time and money into this specific line because of the assets present on the site like accompanying graphics and photos… and it bothers me that there is a small/medium/large sizing tool within the product pages for this brand but nowhere else on the site. Points docked for bias and inconsistency.

Once complete, your glasses will be sent to quality assurance which will take 24-48 hours before it is ready to ship. Once shipped, we will provide you with your tracking information. Then on May 22, I got another email alerting me that the glasses were on their way to quality assurance... all in all this is a cumbersome and annoying way to do things, especially compared to Warby where it was ordered and then showed up in 4 business days.

The MyFit tool is useless unless you know a lot about your glasses already. - Coastal feels like the place to go if you know a lot about what you are looking for. Not for first time eyeglass shoppers. Search by exact size tool is sort of odd in how limiting it is and exact it is… most people don’t know the exact measurement of the glasses they need and more to the point many people can wear a range of sizes… - Makes you enter your Rx yourself instead of uploading a picture of the Rx. This makes it easier for you to mess up because most people can get confused and make errors when it’s something they aren’t experts in or do on a regular basis. For example I almost entered the wrong info and had to go back and check a few times. Very annoying. Frustrating. I don’t even know what the “ADD” box is for and makes me feel like I am screwing this up. I do like however that is has the PD measurement which is something all patients should get measured and use.
- How Do You Want To Use Your Glasses page is a cool idea but the way its designed is bad because it’s not intuitive that there are more than 2 options… i luckily scrolled down on accident to see the other 2 options.
