There are a variety areas that food banks work in times of disaster. The key area of concentration is ensuring food and water are available to the impacted public. The six food banks serving Iowa ( our member food banks) include Northeast Iowa Food Bank, HACAP Food Reservoir, River Bend Food Bank, Food Bank of Iowa, Food Bank of Siouxland and Food Bank for the Heartland. A variety of partnerships are maintained by each food bank for their service area.
