AscSTEM
We want to empower girls in STEM by educating the general public and helping to build interests and knowledge in STEM through events hosted by club members!
The AscSTEM nonprofit organization has already hosted many other events, and we want to expand our purpose even more by starting a branch at Uni. Our mission is to empower girls and gender minorities to pursue careers in STEM. Through innovative programming, mentorship, and community building, we aim to not only create opportunities and resources for girls, but also promote more inclusive mindsets and open new avenues for success in STEM. The main goals of this club would be to educate the general public and school community about the underrepresentation faced by girls in STEM, the STEM career paths one can go down, and many other topics through events hosted by club members; not only will members earn volunteer hours, but they will also learn what it is like to plan events on a large scale while fighting for a cause they care about.

A community service club while learning a new skill and having fun!
Our club’s purpose is to have fun crocheting and knitting together while also helping the

Creative and non-fiction media is more accessible than ever to the newer generation - and for many young people, this can be both enriching and overwhelming. As such, the Media Studies Club’s primary purpose is to help the student base reframe the book and pen from something that is assigned to something that is gifted - that instead of reading stories and articles for a grade, media can be understood, enjoyed, and created.

At our UNI Miracles for Kids club, not only are you able to earn volunteer hours with your friends, but you can also accomplish something meaningful; helping families with critically ill children. UNI Miracles for Kids is a community service club that is partnered with a non-profit organization, Miracles for Kids, to help families with critically ill children. This non-profit organization is also unique in and of itself as it provides services to families that they would usually have to go to multiple non-profits to receive, such as: financial assistance, affordable housing, monthly essential need boxes, and wellness and therapy services. By partnering with Miracles for Kids, our club can create a significant impact to the community by allowing Miracles for Kids to not only provide this vast variety of services to those families in need, but to also further their impact and availability to even more families who need them. In addition, we want to allow people to earn volunteer hours while doing something that makes an immediate impact and leaves a lasting impression; through this club, we hope that some people would be able to develop a passion for kindness and for helping others.

PCMR
We do lectures, interactive activities, fundraisers, host esports tournaments, and mainly focus on the DIY computer building side of things. One of the core aspects of the club is a PC we continuously upgrade throughout the year with money raised from donations and fundraisers.
Overall our main goal is to introduce the DIY PC building space to people who might not have considered building PCs because of how ‘complex’ it is. We’re on our second year of running since we were founded in 2021, with over 50 club members, and we hope to beat this going into the hundreds. At the end of the day this club is a fun little experiment to see how much money we can raise to continuously upgrade the 'Club PC' we own.

Physics Club
Are you interested in science? Are you interested in learning about how the world works? Do you like to learn new things? If you answered yes to any of these questions, physics club is the club for you! We hold biweekly meetings every Thursday and talk about different topics that will be sure to pique your interest! Make sure to come to our interest meeting on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH in ROOM 707.
The main objective of Physics Club is to promote the exploration of physics among students at University High School. We aim to do this by presenting lectures and demonstrations on intriguing physics concepts. We aim to challenge and develop our members’ problem solving skills by interactively working on a wide variety of physics problems. We hope that these lectures will prepare members for physics competitions or exams. Our ultimate goal, however, is to help our members, regardless of their knowledge of physics, become better thinkers and have a better grasp of the inherent beauty in the physics phenomena that surround us.

Or are you simply curious about topics and career pathways within science? Join Science Club to connect with other science enthusiasts and explore your interests beyond the classroom!
The objective of Science Club is to enhance STEM education through team-based academic competitions, which require traditional and hands-on learning, research, experimentation, and construction.
