6 | 1. Start by filling out the Settings on the right hand side. Decide when your project will start, and how often you want the Gantt updated (daily or weekly). Lastly, choose which day your week usually starts. 2. After that, fill out the WBS tab (except for the gray cells - these are automatically calculated). Your project is divided into Groups, Subgroups, and Tasks. For example, a Group could be your Planning stage. Within Planning, Subgroups could include research and scoping. A task inside of research could be creating a list of competitors. 3. The Dependency column is used to show which task should be started or finished before you can start this one. 3. Lastly, in the Gantt tab, fill out the % Done column of each task. The Gantt will automatically calculate whether your team members are behind, ahead, finished or on schedule. 4. Use the Gantt chart to visually monitor the overall project progress. | The Gantt chart shows you an overview of the structure of your project and its progress. The first columns (A-G) show the details according to your WBS. Column H is where you input the progress of each task. Column I indicates the progress according to your schedule (Ahead, On schedule, or Behind). The color of the bar changes according to the status. | |||||||||
