Even though I am new to poetry writing and to the group I am made to feel (by the instructor as well as the participants) like an old friend who just stopped by for a visit. Additionally I am learning so much about the craft of poetry from some very experienced and talented individuals. I appreciate the time effort and respect given by each participant to me and to one another. Susan is a wonderful guide providing gentle but constructive feedback both during the class and after. I appreciate her willingness to welcome me into the group with open arms and to give so much of her time and expertise !Just keep offering wonderful opportunities for writers of all genres and skill levels to meet and share their work!Other: Worcester County Poetry Association websiteI have thus far participated in (2) of Susan Roney-O' Brien's Poetry Workshops the first being Saturday February 5th 2022 and the second being today Saturday March 5th 2022.Perhaps some additional writing groups for memoir or nonfiction.
