I thought the modeling and being able to learn it was useful.
I think I would spread the assignments out more. I thought it was a little back loaded.
More chances to earn points. Maybe optional extra credit assignments.

techniques for successful photographing
Make syllabus accurate and follow it closely; keep updates current. More course content that integrates historical lectures and tech lectures. Integration was largely left to individual students to do or not do. Demonstrating and discussing some successful reconstructions, perhaps beyond the case studies, would be useful for prompting integration.
Clear, accurate syllabus.

Learning the interface of Zbrush, learning photogrammetry and Sketchfab, learning how to use research to inform digital restoration
Begin the course with an informatics 101 to give students without prior experience the vocabulary and foundational knowledge of informatics. Go through Zbrush slower. Have everyone do the same model and go through the restoration process in class for the first model.
Doing one model all together first instead having different ones from the beginning.

I enjoyed learning how to use zBrush and learning Photogrammetry.
I might add areas where students would be able to practice photogrammetry more and actually making it into Karst before the final product.
Learning more about how Virtual Reality is used with Virtual Heritage.
