VOLUNTEER COACHES

Our sports leagues rely on volunteers to help coach twice a week.
~ Approximately 2 hrs. (1 practice and 1 game)

>Coaches will be able to pick their practice time based on the field availability.

>Co-Coaches/Assistant Coaches: Will only be allowed if it doesn't imbalance the rest of the league.

>Training from the Positive Coaching Alliance is available for any volunteer who wants to receive guidance on coaching youth. This course is a requirement for any coach selected to be an All-Star coach.

our Sports Staff for helpful drills and tips.

>If you are interested in coaching, please mark it on the sports registration form, and send an
email to: rap.stonerrc@lacity.org with your contact information so that we can get you started on the live-scan process.

ALL-STARS

An All-Star Tournament will be held at the completion of the season against other LA City Parks.

>Player's will be selected based on their play throughout the season.

> Player's selected will receive a selection letter from a Sports Staff member with more information on the tournament.

> All-Star's will be required to submit proof of age, sign the roster, and submit payment before being allowed to play.

>Team practices will be held in preparation of the tournament.

>If the Recreation Center wins the "Region" All-Star Tournament they will move on to the "Citywide" All-Star Tournament. Region/Citywide Champions will get a banner hung up inside our gymnasium.

>Persons with disabilities are welcome to participate in our programs. Reasonable accommodations will be made with prior arrangements. Please be aware that some accommodations may take 30 days or longer. Please submit your request for an accommodation as soon as possible.

>Programs subject to change or cancellation without notice.

>Once the program begins, no refunds will be issued unless the program is cancelled by the recreation center. A 15% Administrative Fee will be assessed by the Recreation Center to any patron granted a refund. Refunds are subject to review by the recreation supervisor. Full refunds will only be issued when a program is cancelled by the recreation center.

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. MAKE SURE YOU GRAB EVERYTHING YOU CAME IN WITH
AND THROW AWAY ALL TRASH

>The entrance to the field is located by the bleachers on Diamond 2. Near the small parking lot by the outdoor basketball court.

>Team benches are on the opposite side of the field. These benches are for the players and coaches only. All spectators should remain on the opposite side of the field.

>After the game/practice has been completed, please promptly clean up after yourself and exit the field so that the next teams can take the field.

PHOTOS ARE NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF YOUR LEAGUE REGISTRATION

>Pictures will be taken outside in the Japanese Garden off of Stoner Avenue. (Next to the Pool)

>Player's must provide their own sports equipment for their individual photo.

>Orders must be placed online by the day prior to taking pictures.

>If you are not purchasing pictures, we do ask that you still show up for the team picture.

>There are no make-up picture days.

>Once the pictures come in, we will give them to their coaches to pass out after the game.

CLOSING DAY: SEASON AWARDS

>All players ages 5-10 will receive a trophy after completing their season.

>All players ages 11-15 will receive a t-shirt after completing their season.

>Any division with playoffs, the winning team will receive championship trophies.

>After completing your final game, trophies will be setup outside in our picnic area. Each team will have 30 minutes to pass out their awards and have a little party.

>If your team would like to make other arrangements away from the park, please let sports staff know so that we can leave your trophies boxed up.
