General Rules
You will be allotted 100 points when becoming a member. Each rule broken will deduct points and once you get to zero, your time at Sublime will be put on hold for 3 months, and depending on the severity of infractions it may be up to 6 months. For multiple infractions within one instance, point deduction will be stacked. Every 10 point accrual will equal a two day ban. It will be staff discretion on the addition of points back to your total. These rules and guidelines are subject to change at anytime based on staff discretion.
Rule No.TitleRule CoveragePoints Deducted
** You must be 18+ to play on Sublime Roleplay. **

-Discord names must include your character's name(s). If you do not abide by this rule upon creating your character and a staff member asks you to change your name and you ignore the request, a ban might occur. (Staff Excluded)

- We are an English speaking server, you must speak English at all times and be able to understand it.

- You must have a working microphone with no background noise and clear output. Failure to do so will result in you being banned until it is fixed.

- We strongly encourage you to have fun and try changing your voice yourself without software! If you insist on still using software, your character's changed voice must be approved by an Admin or other Staff member before taking them into the city.

- Conversations in tickets and transcripts are confidential; any shared transcripts or conversations to outside parties is against the rules and will result in a ban.
2Disrupting Server Operations
- Players must be a positive community member and remain respectful with everyone at all times.

- It is prohibited to advertise or discuss other GTA V multiplayer communities in Sublime.

- It is prohibited to leak personal information of another person or to make threats.

- It is prohibited to intimidate players from playing in the city or to continuously harass them in the city for OOC reasons to purposely make their roleplay experience poor.
3Bug Abusing/Exploiting
- Any bugs found out by players are to be reported immediately through the proper channels. Anyone found abusing/exploiting bugs will be to an extended ban period.

- Players must not have mods, trainers, or any kind of third party software installed that gives any advantage(I.E. Blood packs, Deleted or Edited textures, Kill Effects, etc)
4Character Creation
- Players must create a realistic human character.

- Players must create realistic character names. Examples of unacceptable names are listed below:

- Names that reference known people, characters, brands, places, or icons.

- Names that reference slang terms, offensive language or are just unoriginal.

- Names that consist of multiple words.

- Sublime reserves the right to assign a random name to any character violating our RP naming policy or issue a ban.

- Admins may request a player to change their character's customization if they deem it unfit for the server environment.

- Characters must dress appropriately for the weather, or at least roleplay the downsides of wearing inappropriate clothes.

- Do not make parts of your body invisible or intentionally glitched
5Aviation- Only specifically trained and approved players may operate aircraft on the server. (If this does not describe you, then your character is not a pilot and does not "know" how to fly.)
In Character/Roleplay
6Random Death Match (RDM)
- Random Death Match is killing someone without reason, and without any valid RP purpose. You cannot go around killing people for no reason, and without warning.

- Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police.

- Players must be able to explain their reason and provide proof of prior reasoning if requested.
7Vehicle Death Match (VDM)
- Vehicle Death match is when a player kills you with a vehicle for no reason. This includes running people over for no reason, ramming a vehicle with another vehicle to cause it to explode.

- Vehicles cannot be used as weapons.
8Power Gaming
- Players can not force another player into a situation that they cannot role-play out of, ie.. "Empty out your bank account and give me all your money or force sell me your car"

- Any form of Police/EMS/DOJ corruption storylines/scenes must be approved via staff before they are carried out (Open a ticket). If the police are caught IC doing corrupt things, it needs to be handled IC. If you have a government services character and a crim character, you are not eligible to carry out a corrupt storyline. If you are caught doing this without getting permission beforehand, you are subject to a two week ban.

- Police may not spike strip within the immediate area of an active robbery. This not only kills roleplay very quickly but also forces people to break character by asking "NO SPIKE STRIPS" as a demand.

- NO POLICE LOOTBOXING - This means it is now a bannable offense to rob PD of their weapons. You need to obtain weapons of that caliber through RP means and not purely downing cops your first day in the city to up your arsenal via a cheesy way. (THE ONLY SCENARIO THIS WILL BE OKAY IS IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN A JOB AND IT ENDS IN A SHOOTOUT WITH PD. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN POSSESSION OF PD WEAPONS IT WILL BE 3X THE CHARGE.)

- Using an in city mechanic to take advantage of a situation.

- It is forbidden for you to drive a vehicle that gives a tactical advantage including but not limited to windowless or small windowed, engine blocks that provide cover, hoods or trunks open, while you are doing any of the following activities:

You’re at war
You’re in a shoot out with anyone / or are anticipating one
You’re committing a crime that may lead to a shootout

- Identifying another player by voice is never permitted
9Meta Gaming
- Meta gaming is taking any 3rd party or out of character information that you obtain and using it in character.

- Players may not have any interaction or knowledge from their alternate characters.

- Communications are to be kept inside of the city. There is to be no outside communication via Discord, or any other platforms unless an admin is in the Discord or group chat.
10Value Of Life (VOL)
- You are to value your life in the city. If you are injured, take the injuries seriously. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in real life. {If you are in Pillbox multiple times a night after sustaining multiple major injuries, that's not okay.}

- At all times during roleplay, you must value your life and the lives of others. Your character is mortal and only has one life. They should act according to their personality and mannerisms when faced with a threat to their life. This does not mean that a "brave" character can ignore a gun pointed at them. Failure to abide by this rule may be seen as power gaming and/or FailRP.

- EMS may not be kidnapped for any reason.

- Reporters may not be kidnapped, robbed, or assaulted while reporting on the scene of a crime/event. Reporters must have equipment attached to their person and actively surveying the crime/event to be eligible for this exemption.

- Players are human. If you have a gun pointed at you, put your hands up. Pulling a weapon during this situation is considered FailRP and you will be banned for this. Your character's life is important, so act as such.

- Value the life of others. If a criminal has a hostage, players need to value the life of that hostage as much as their own.
Do not charge into a hostage situation without the release and safety of that hostage.
11Fail Roleplay (FailRP)
- Fail RP is failing to stay in character, doing something you would not do in real life or even a lack of RP in your scenes.

- Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as FailRP.

- If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior.

- Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 20 minutes before they can fly out of the city.

- Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills.

If you are about to do something in character, ask yourself "would I do this in real life?" and if the answer is no, then you should not do it. { Also, make sure to act within your character's perspective. You shouldn't be doing things that do not line up with who your character is.}

Chain robbing 24/7’s in the city without providing the cops with RP is considered failRP and the PD in the city will be reporting this when it happens. You should not be holding up the store clerk and leaving before PD even arrives.

12New Life Rule (NLR)

- If you are incapacitated and the dumped in the ocean or any remote location, once you have manually respawned (aka taking a "local ambulance (Holding ‘E’)" or "local medevac/airlift (Holding ‘E’)" you do not remember any of the events that led up to your being incapacitated.

- If someone takes you to a hospital to check-in, or if you are in a public place (aka somewhere there are a lot of locals around that would likely assist you in getting medical aid) you will remember the events leading up to your incapacitation.

- If the RP scene is still active and you are down, you must wait until the RP scene has concluded to take local EMS unless the other party directs you to do so within RP. This does not mean the downed person has to wait for hours unless they agree to it. The downed person can take local after 30 minutes of being downed on scene.

- If the RP scenario involves your intentional attempted murder such as being dropped in the ocean/otherwise being disposed of, you shouldn't be using /911, and should just bleed out, manually respawn, and forget those events.

In general if you are obviously being dumped in a remote location you forget all events leading up to the incident. If you need clarification, open a ticket for more advice.
13Offensive Roleplay
- This includes being racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Your characters are not to be attacking anyone for their race, sexual preference, or gender. We do not tolerate any form of terror, racism (including racist language), sexism (including sexist language), sexual harassment, or rape roleplay. (There is no tolerance for this and will be a 100 point deduction automatically)

- Erotic roleplay is strictly prohibited.

- Roleplay through which a character may be killed, significantly altered, disfigured, or which would realistically change the long-term behavior of a person must be agreed to by the parties directly involved.

- Players are not allowed to perform detailed acts of torture, dismemberment, cannibalism, or other extremely graphic activities while any of the parties are streaming or "wearing body cam". These activities should be performed in private AND all parties must agree to the scene before it is carried out.

- The roleplaying of suicide attempts and terminal cancer is forbidden!

- The roleplaying of mental illness in any fashion is prohibited. As it affects many people differently, prohibiting it all together is the best way to keep people safe.

- Due to current events in the world, protesting in the city is off limits unless pre approved by staff within in a ticket.
14Combat Logging
- Most people in the gaming community should know what this means. This is the act of logging out to escape RP. Examples listed below:

You are a criminal being chased by the police after a bank robbery and you fly out of the city to avoid being caught and/or avoid interaction.

You are a gang member being chased by another gang and you fly out of the city to avoid being caught and/or avoid interaction.
Criminal Activity
15General Activity
- Crimes should be conducted in a realistic manner with reasonable in-character motive using secluded areas. Players should not conduct minor crime in situations with high risk. Desert or forest areas are considered secluded but witnesses should still be considered.

- Players may not use a designated job vehicle for any type of illegal activity.

- Players may participate in no more than 1 prison break attempt within 1 OOC week.

- It is prohibited to do any illegal activities 15 minutes before a Tsunami.

- Players are allowed to kidnap or to take other players hostage for only these specific reasons:

You have to have a roleplay reason to attack the victim in accordance with the RDM rules.
If you attempt to commit robbery of a property, you are allowed to hold the players within that property until you have finished the robbery.

All included players may not take another hostage for 24 HRS if you are caught and charged with hostage taking. That means if one person gets caught and charged, ONLY they would have to sit out of heists for 24 hours.

16Green Zones (No Crime Area)A green zone is an area that should not be used for criminal activity whatsoever. Shooting is strictly-prohibited in these areas as well.
You must not /drag or /carry anyone out of a greenzone for any reason.
If you are being chased, evading etc.. you must not go to a greenzone to dodge RP, this will be viewed as combat logging.

Green Zones include:

Default Spawn Points
Delivery Vehicle HUB
17Group Limits
- No more than 4 people allowed working on any illegal activities (A hunting party is considered an illegal activity) (Exceptions: Pacific Standard (6)) and you may only have 15 players maximum in any one gang.

- If you have a racing crew, the group limit does not apply UNLESS you engage in heists/police activity.

- If a group of more than four is initiated on, they are ALL allowed to retaliate during that scene.
18Gang Rules
- Every gang is limited to a maximum of 15 members, this includes hangarounds

-Every gang/crew should have clearly identifying clothing (bandana/vest/mask/etc)

- On the streets gangs can only press people when wearing gang specific item. (example. Billy is wearing his red bandana which identifies his gang (the red gang.). He can press another member of the public who is wearing that same red bandana and not part of the gang. To press the member of the public you must be wearing your gang item.

- During a gang war the rule of 4 applies in all other scenarios. (if you are out patroliing you must be on seperate radio's)

- If a gang is on their set and PD comes to your set, that gang is allowed to defend their set with 15 maximum members. You may not bait PD back to your set. For this rule to be applied you must already be on your set.

You can't just run to your set after ditching cops. for example PGD hits a bank in their gear, if they lose the cops and the cops go to the PGD set in response (within an hour) PGD can only respond with the four that that initaited at the bank.

-Alliances can be formed and are meant to allow cooperation between gangs. (trading meth for guns, etc) Alliances are not meant to create super gangs. The RP should make sense. (You don't have to all of sudden like a gang in your area just because you a trade deal or it doesnt mean you should trade guns because you have a seize fire agreement)

-Drive bys are acceptable on the turfs of opposing gangs without going over the 4 man limit (unless in war and attacking the opposing set see section 19 for more clarification) RDM should also be kept in mind, so make sure you have the RP to back up the actions you are about to take. (example. The vagos wearing their gang item drive by grove street where another gang is hanging out and perform a drive by. also keep in mind while doing the drive by they can respond with 15 while at their set)

-Organic formation. Gangs should be formed organically through RP and not just pop up overnight.
Staff Discretion
19Gang Wars
- No switching characters/roles once the war as started. No exceptions.

-Terms and overall direction of the war will be clearly agreed upon by both sides via the leaders ooc in discord emails/ticket system or brought in character. Admins should be notified of the war. If terms are not agreed upon no war will be had and powergaming will not be allowed (It is encouraged that after terms are agreed upon some sort of meeting is set up IC to solidify the terms with RP reason behind them.)

- No interference from other gangs/crews of any kind. It is allowed to contact other gangs and buy their resources to aid your efforts in the war but other gangs are prohibited from directly helping either gang. This includes interfering with PD in their interactions with gangs at war.

-During a gang war you can defend your set with the entire gang (15 members)

-During a gang war you may attack the opposing gang set with 10 maximum. (This applies ONLY applies when attacking at another gang's set, and not just anywhere on the map)

- During a gang war the rule of 4 applies in all other scenarios. (if you are out patroliing you must be on seperate radio's, and only have a group of 4 or less)

- At no point will you be allowed to wage war with any LEO department.

-PD numbers will not exceed 10 when responding to gang wars unless an officer has been taken down. LEO wil most likely stay out of the majority of the war but not all of it. (This is not a guarantee just a statement to help with expectations.)

-PD will not engage until it has been determined one group is fleeing the scene.

-Each gang may only declare war twice in a 45 day period. This is set forth to create more impactful terms.

-OOC bantar and mockery will not be tolerated. Everything should be driven through RP in the server to maintain a positive atmosphere.
