Print.http://www.indiana.edu/~libarch/ER/macpaper12.pdf(found by Alan Liu)"The article includes summaries of the concepts and strategies proposed by those archivists, on the one hand, who advocate employing traditional archival methodologies to manage electronic records, and those, on the other hand, who recommend reengineering the management process and developing and implementing new techniques and methodologies. In an attempt to make this review as pertinent and familiar as possible, these ideas are examined in the context of three archival functions: custody, appraisal, and description."
