I also saw clients through a research position with Univ. of Col. medical campus, this is also on hold. I have recently been in an area that now requires me to self quarantine for two weeks. I cannot see my clients or music students for two weeks. I am working on online sessions, but we do not know about reimbursement, and this would not be ideal for most of my clients. I have a car payment, insurance, rent...I have been living paycheck to paycheck while finishing my education and internship. I no longer have any savings. Caucasian female with high bp and weakish lungsUpdated 4/26: I'm wondering if anyone might consider supporting me by contributing to a month or two subscription to music therapy ed, helping me create a website, develop my ideas and think out of the boxI will need support in a week. I am a MTBO and all of my contracts are currently on hold, meaning I have no income for the foreseeable future. I have offered to facilitate telehealth sessions, but the sites where I contract have chosen to suspend all creative arts therapies/specialty services.I am a white, middle-aged, cisgender female. I have a history of a brain injury and have been experiencing increased challenges with my CNS over the past few months (unrelated to COVID-19) that have resulted in some missed work. I would usually identify as middle-income; however, my husband has been out of a job for the past month (unrelated to COVID-19), and while we have some savings, we are having to readjust our lifestyle and regulate this savings to cover us for as long as possible.Other:What would be really helpful would be connections to any music therapy faculty that may be looking for individuals to guest lecture or organizations that may be looking for paid presenters over these next few months. I have given international webinars, guest lectured, and presented online and in person on topics like burnout and selfcare for music therapy students and professionals and Bruscia's four music therapy methods with adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Opportunities to present/guest lecture would provide a little extra income to help sustain us and also provide some purpose during this challenging time (one of my core values is teaching and learning). I work as an independently contracted Music Therapy provider at a skilled day program within a therapy center for children on the autism spectrum - TherHappy Therapy Services, Inc. They have closed their doors due to government and CDC requirements for 2 weeks now, and I am unable to provide services. Music Therapy services are currently not accepted as a telehealth service, either, so while I am constantly advocating for that, it still is not available to me. I earn $50/hour and work 10 hours per week, therefore have already lost $1000, which is my rent. I am scrambling to make ends meet, and know I'll be losing thousands of dollars. I am working around the clock to find parents to purchase online out of pocket sessions, and it's very slow coming but I am doing my best. I don't have savings beyond April's rent and bills, and I'm very concerned, is there any provision for this situation? Thank you so much.
I am a single white female, post-graduate educated, MTBC of 6 years, CCLS of 5 years but left the hospital CCLS position in September. 35 years old, apartment renter, car renter, paying down student loan debt around $600/ month.

3/15/2020 22:00:11I am a Music Therapist (MT-BC)Meriden, CTJona@infinitymusictherapy.comI am a small business owner. It’s wiped about 70% of my revenue streams in less than a week. I am just recovering from an abusive marriage (finally divorced in Feb) and the impact of having no income is putting myself and my son with ASD in a very bad spot. I was just getting back on my feet financially after a year of hard work in January. I can’t work some of the cases that are even left because my son’s school is closed. I’m trying to organize my staff so hopefully keep everyone employed but doing so is difficult with a child with special needs. I have PTSD, GAD, and MDD and this is causing a severe spikeSole parent, white female, multiple mental health disorders, ligament disorder, hearing loss, special needs mom, small business ownerGroceries, medicine or other essentials, Cleaning supplies or essential items while out of work / income reduced, Home cooked meals, Child careSomeone bought us groceries so we are good on food for a bit but we are going to need help in a Week or so with things like milk, lunch meat/cheese, and fresh produce. My son has ASD and has a pretty restricted diet on what he will eat. I’m honestly worried about paying for bills in general. I have very limited child care so working is really hard and my ex husband doesn’t see his son or pay support on any kind of regular schedule. He’s thousands behind. Even gift cards for groceries, gas cards, or Visa gift cards to pay electric bills etc would be helpful. Ive appealed multiple times for social services during the past year with no success. Sent some money | Funds sent 4.15.20Responded to recent follow-up email, needs still unmet (lost large percentage of private practice business, not yet received any state aid).
