All of your work your work will be filling in things on the 'generator' tab.

Dark Grey needs a number put in. Often just '1' to select something, like an amp, but in the case of skills and stats, a higher number is possible.
12
Light Grey is for text entry, like when you have an emotion attachment quality you type what it is you are attached to.
13
Other times it may be selecting from a menu, like vehicle weapon specialization.
14
1
Blue is for filled in data
15
ERROR
This will pop up if you have done something wrong, spent too many attribute points, violated a racial max/min, etc.
16
Human
Light grey text is part of the calculation portion of the spreadsheet, ignore it.
17
Note
Green text is instructions. Sometimes lengthier instructions will be in a note indicated by the black triangle in the upper right of the cell.
18
Text
Orange text is something I am likely changing on a future revision, or working on right now.
19
2
Important numbers, like shadow amp points remaining, will be shown like this.
20
Blue
Blue text is for fan written house rules.
21
22
The final character will be shown on the PC Sheet tab.
23
24
Skill / Stat Breakdwon
25
26
I focus on dice pools whenever possible, to remove the hunting across the character sheet for the stat and skill and then waiting for the player to do the math.
27
28
Skill Name / Base Pool / Rerolls for failed dice (Points invested in skill) extra dice for pool in specific conditions
29
30
Example:
31
Piloting (Ground) 8+2RR (2)+2 Hard M
32
8
The first number is the final dice pool for a normal action for this skill: STAT+SKILL+MODS
33
+2RR
RR is the number of failed dice you get to reroll. A negative value is successes you have to reroll.
34
(2)
The number in paranthesis is the number of actual skill points invested in the ability, so you can see what you haven't trained.
35
+2 Hard M
If there is a number with other text, it is the number of additional dice to roll only in very specific circumstances, hinted at by the text.
36
In this example, the Gearhead quality gives you two additional dice to your Pilot skill only if you are trying a difficult maneuvar.
37
Skill Specializations will show up like this.
38
39
Whenever possible, I'll work the full effects of amps and qualities into the shown stats.
40
If the amp or quality has an * at the end, then I've already done this.
41
If the * isn't there, then I could work the amp/quality into the stats, and you'll have to do it yourself.
42
43
There are sections at the bottom of the sheet for riggers, deckers, mages, and technomancers.
44
If they don't apply to you, select the rows, right click, and select hide.
45
46
The advance tab allows you to spend karma to improve your character.
47
48
The PBP Sheet tab formats the character for cutting / pasting into text only play be post.
49
50
To save as a pdf for printing, go to the PC Sheet tab, then select columns A-K, then FILE > PRINT. This will make it print the document nicely.
