Rotary Club of Clintonville – President Position Responsibilities

·       Plan and lead monthly board meetings.*

·       Plan and lead weekly Club meetings.*

·       Communicate with Clintonville and Marion High Schools to schedule Students of the Week and Students of the Month.

·       Hand out recognitions to new Club members, Students of the Week and Students of the Month.

·       Organize social events.*

·       Spearhead fundraising efforts.

·       Ensure service projects are performed and/or stay on track.

·       Encourage members to form/join committees. Set goals for our Club’s committees.*

·       Supervise the preparation of our Club’s budget, including an annual financial review, with President Elect.*

·       Involve members in your Club’s goals as outlined in Rotary Club Central.

·       Track your goals in Rotary Club Central. Review with membership quarterly.

·       Collaborate with the Governor and Assistant Governor on Club and District matters.*
15
·       Prepare for the District Governor’s required visit.

·       Ensure the Rotary Youth Exchange program requirements are implemented (Rotary Youth Protection Policies and Statement of Conduct for Working With Youth).

·       Ensure training is conducted for Club members, as needed.*

·       Encourage members to attend District meetings and promote the Rotary Convention.

·       Attend the District Conference.*

·       Submit an annual report to your Club on the Club’s status before leaving office.*

·       Work with your successor before leaving office.*

·       Arrange for a joint meeting of the incoming Board of Director’s with the outgoing Board.*

·       Ensure our Club Secretary and Treasurer have accounts on Rotary.org.

·       Work with membership to nominate new board members.
